I cannot understand people who think in terms of racism because the single greatest opponent of poor white guys is rich white guys. My success is only a potential threat to someone like Bill Kristol. He has every possible incentive to do everything he can to crush me and younger generations of white men (excepting his own children, of course). When did the lords ever have "racial solidarity" with their serfs?? Serfs are just war expendables or strongbacks for farming and, if they become agitated, a danger to one's own throat. There is not and never has been any solidarity of "white men" and anyone who thinks differently is an absolute fool.

They are pleased to adopt and exploit "racial solidarity" as a fig leaf when it fits their purpose.

Poor whites in the American south were consoled with the fact that, as low as they were (and were kept), at least they weren't as low as the blacks.

It's a nasty dynamic, and they'll drop it just as quickly, when it suits better. (See: Democrats, modern vs. antebellum)
