You're one of the older ones!

Abstinence and abstinence education are two different things. Abstinence does work. Obviously we have a culture that does not prize and instill self control or respect and encourage chastity so abstinence education is way too late to the game to make a difference.
"Hey Billy, you can have whatever you want, you can be whatever you want, follow your dreams, you can go to college even if you're not a great student, masturbation is a healthy way to explore yourself whenever you want, here is the ipod I bought you even though you do next to no chores and sass me and your mom, check out that chick's ass, only 5 hours of video games tonight, be home by 2am (call me for a ride if you are plastered or high *wink-wink*), for your 16th birthday we bought you a car...oh and btw, you have to restrain yourself in the face of the overwhelming sexual urges you are getting and have absolutely no sex. Yes, I know it's kind of the first time we've asked you for anything like real self control but we hope you'll make us proud."
That's just bad parenting.
More like ignorant hyperbole. When parents can't think critically, they can't teach their children critical thinking. Children aren't taught to question authority, which makes them vulnerable to those who pose as authority.
I tried to Rep Pete on that as well , but it would not let me . Nicely done .Darn... I used my rep on an earlier post of yours in this thread, but this one deserves it more.
I would never do those things. And the men can continue... but not with women.
Are you advocating homosexuality? Or just being hypocritical?![]()
I'd rather lose doing what is right than win by lying and killing. I vote for Ron Paul, and not Mitt Romney, for just that reason.
A lot of liberals say this but I have never seen any proof. In fact from all the numbers I've seen the highest numbers for pregnancies out of wedlock come from the highest populated liberal states of New York and California. Neither of those places are "abstinence only" places for sex education. The reality is that school ran sex education of any stripe doesn't work. And the idea that the government should interfere in it, whether teaching abstinence only or not, is a liberal idea, as Dr. Paul pointed out the Frothy.
This is why people who REALLY oppose abortion are REALLY in favor of contraception. People who oppose both are REALLY anti-sex.
You would be surprised. The amount of pent-up demand to adopt white, attractive, healthy, "normal" infants is huge -- the "supply" could easily triple and be met with adoptive parents.
