30-Min Informercial is UP on YouTube!

YOU GUYS DON'T LIVE IN IOWA! I AM A REPUBLICAN LIVING IN IOWA! THIS WILL APPEAL TO THEM! Just because you guys are all pro choice, doesn't mean this won't be a good infomercial! Just because it doesn't appeal to YOU, doesn't mean it won't appeal to IOWA REPUBLICANS! Last time I checked, THAT'S WHO WE ARE TRYING TO APPEAL TO! Not you! Me! And this appeals to me, and my opinion should carry the greatest weight of all people here!

He also glossed over his opposition to the war in Iraq.

I see what he is doing in this video now...by being so strongly pro-life and glossing over his opposition to iraq, he's trying to appeal to iowa republicans.

Right... if he started with terrorism it would have turned of the iowa repub likely hucksters.

*sigh* It's a great production, and I'm certain it'll play well in Iowa, but I totally disagree with the "human life at conception" point. I guess that's my compromise for Ron.

Well, he is running for federal office, and he believes the federal government should not regulate abortion, so I don't think this should be a concern.

Personally, he is strongly opposed to abortion, and I don't think it's wrong of him to voice this personal opinion in a state like Iowa where it will greatly benefit him.

I agree and I am pro-life. I think he should focus on monetary policy, ending the war, states rights, and giving us back our freedoms. I think its a mistake to focus too much on the divisive abortion issue.

I am guessing so much time and emphasis was given to abortion because it is a big issue in Iowa

No bad synch here for me.

Besides that's a YouTube thing.

The TV airing of this wouldn't suffer that issue.

Its only when he is talking directly into the camera, the rest seems fine, but I am sure they will get it worked out before viewing it.

The Ames speech should be immediately swapped out with the Ann Arbor, MI or the Philly speech. If this isn't airing until Dec 22-23, there is more than enough time to do this.

They have Philly clips in Part 2

^ Yea that's one of the cool things about Ron, we don't all have to agree with his personal opinions! The states should be allowed to do as they please...

I thought this infomercial would be a nationwide campaign.

If so, I hope (and bet) they mix up the way it is presented. It is in discrete chunks so it can be dynamically changed.

QFT. His ads are working in New Hampshire, which this board said they would not, now people are saying these are junk. These trolls need to go back under the bridge of Cali and New York they are use to living in.

I don't really think we should promote this video on YouTube or Digg. Let's let this one just go on TV in Iowa. This isn't a video that would appeal nationally, in my ARROGANT opinion! :)

I bet some people will think differently...

Well, he is running for federal office, and he believes the federal government should not regulate abortion, so I don't think this should be a concern.

He doesn't really say that, though. If this is Iowa specific, OK.
But if it is one size fits all for all of America.... boo.

Could be, but I know a few people in Iowa and I have never heard them mention abortion, but then again I trust Ron Pauls' Campaign and am sure this will be a big help to his campaign.

first he needs to win the Rep nom if he does not, nothing will matter.

He doesn't really say that, though. If this is Iowa specific, OK.

Oh, I agree 100%. Would you start off with the pro life position in New Hampshire? I don't live there, but I'm guessing not. I believe this is only for Iowa and this will work there! I should know! Trust me and trust Ron Paul! We know what we're talking about!
