I think he did pretty well.
I don't think he ever finished a complete sentence. he was on to the next sentence before he was done with the next sentence.
Ya know, I just got home and have just now finished reading every post in this thread. But I haven't yet watched the video. I'm almost afraid to. Many of the comments - and especially those from some posters whose opinions I generally respect - make me very reluctant to watch. I sometimes get so discouraged with the way things so often go for Ron, that I can bearly stand to see any more of it. What to do, what to do?![]()
Then, why didn't he embrace what he said and explain why he said it? What he did seemed evasive.
I think there's been enough criticism. I would feel awful if Ron actually read these forums (apparently he does, he definitely reads the daily paul).
Just keep supporting the man, correct misconceptions and do literally everything you can to help in Iowa. Phone from home is a very good start.
True to a point, but at the same time we can't just be a bunch of "yes men", if I was running I would encourage constructive criticism because I would realize I'm not perfect and I think anyone who isn't trying to constantly improve has the wrong mindset.
Ron seemed much stronger on immigration in 2007. He needs to do an end around on the fence issue and address attacking mandated benefits for illegals. Nip it in the bud, no incentives, much less illegal immigration and at a fraction of the cost of building an 800 mile wall that won't work anyway. Combine that with increased border security = Win!
he was on to the next sentence before he was done with the next sentence.
