I think we try to get him to $1 million BEFORE Sept 10 and see what he does. Look like around $70,000 to make it to $1 million
I thought he said 1 million and he was in?
Maybe we need to re-focus and concentrate on getting 1 instead of spreading ourselves too thin.
I'd prioritize Peter Schiff over Rand Paul.
What do you think?
From my view:
1) Peter is more tied into economics and markets - it's what we need to fix the economy.
2) Peter has the lead in donations.
3) Peter can really hit hard and take on the critics, with on-the-fly free market arguments.
on his weekly radio show, wall street unspun, peter declared that if we get him 1.5 million by september 10th then he will be in for good!
That's roughly $570,000 as of today!

I don't like what Peter is doing either, but our number one goal must be to get him elected into the Senate, not to prove a point. We must forgive and forget, and fully support every choice he makes.I have a different idea. I say we sit on our money and not give him another dime until he announces, regardless of how much he has. He gave us the goal to reach $750k in that money bomb. We surpassed it. Now the ball's in his court. And that's where it should stay until he gives us something more than just another phony donation goal.
Donate what you can. If Peter can't commit, then unfortunately that's his problem, not our fault.
It's not our fault, but if we donated, then it is our problem, because we'll be out that money. I already donated back when he said his goal was 750k. I trusted him. Now if he decides not to run (and the only thing I can conclude from the fact he hasn't announced yet is that he still might not run), then I will have effectively been duped into wasting money by trusting that false goal.

Want to come back to this thread after Peter has won his Senate seat!

Childish is a bit of an overstatement. Grown adults watch how they part with their money, esp if things are tight. I like Peter as much as anyone but he needs to get the ball rolling. The suspense is killing me.I am under the impression that he will announce after he hits 1million, whenever that may be.
If you don't want to donate anymore until he announces... then don't. Either he will run and you will be satisfied or he won't and you will get your money back. All of this complaining is counter-productive and a bit childish.
