He, of course, got my vote. Unfortunately, Chapel Hill is a stronghold for Che-loving Marxists, and that makes the district difficult to win. However, Republicans may take the state general assembly, and districts are being redrawn this year.
Oh, I'm not. I think silver has more upside, which is why I buy it over gold. That, and I don't really have enough money to buy gold. It's easier to buy some silver pieces every now, at least in my circumstances. Poor man's gold, after all.
I can't go along with the anti-global free trade. If, after all the regulations and tariffs, the thing you desire still costs more than buying it from somewhere else, then you won't buy it. We can't control what other countries do, nor should we try. They will stifle growth in their own countries.
I've heard that argument brought up before, and it doesn't hold water. The spike in the early 80s was over a very short time frame, less than a year if I recall correctly. We're not seeing anything like that - gold has risen steadily over the past decade.

There is no logical debate to have. You believe in a God that you have no proof of, period. You don't know that the bible was inspired or written by God.
I'm not going to have a religious debate here. I've done it hundreds of times before and it never changes anyone's mind. The human mind is...
Right, I'm dumb. Not the people that are finding their morals in 2,000 year old desert scribblings. Every follower of every religion thinks they're right and everyone else is wrong. Show me the evidence and I'll believe your religion.
The problem with trying to get any kind libertarian movement...
I mean, if this is not overtly religious, I don't know what is. Point is, this is not the kind of unifying rhetoric we need in the liberty movement. I'm an atheist, and people are free to believe what they want, but we're never going to agree on something like religion, because it's man made...
