Made that +2 Rep -- I was thinking almost the same thing - most of the things that people get ticketed for are just money-making schemes for the local municipalities (right up there with seat-belt laws and getting a ticket for going 3 or 4 MPH over the posted speed limit)
At Notary at Large just means that Notary can notarize documents/signatures state-wide, not only in their home county. The lack of any sort of number in the notary stamp is perfectly legitimate. We don't have any sort of number assigned to us here in TN either (yes, I am a Notary at Large in TN).
I'll have to disagree that the U.S. is different as regards historical cycles. How many of those unalienable rights are already, for practical purposes, gone? Hmm, 1st Amendment - you can say what you want as long as it can't be regarded as 'hate speech' or as long as you're in one of those...
What we are seeing is history repeating itself. I saw something years ago about the cycle of government and, although I can't remember it verbatim, it went something like this:
Government progress/digress according to a set cycle. They go from slavery to a republic to a democrary to...
I've been thinking something along these same lines. I think it is entirely possible that Obama was allowed to win (think voter fraud and vote fraud) because TPTB knew that when he was declared uneligible to hold the office of POTUS that 'certain segments' of voters would riot, and thus usher...
That'll never happen as long as the Ds and Rs control the criteria for admittance. The 'third' parties were included as long as the League of Women Voters were in charge of the debates but that ended with the Perot run that scared the proverbial socks off the Ds and Rs when they saw how many...
Hi Ya!! I've been doing plenty of 'lurking' the past few months but, once I saw the general direction of a lot of the threads after Dr. Paul dropped out of the race (mainly all the bickering and name calling), I just didn't have the heart to jump in. Tonight, after seeing what many of us...
You're absolutely correct. When was the last time a freshman Senator that no one had ever heard of before he ran for Senate suddenly up and winning even a party's nomination, must less the presidency? The fix was in for this election almost two years ago. This is the only thing that explains...
Geez, I don't know. Are you trying to win the "Irish" vote by saying you're Irish?
Please see my above comment about morons dragging out the racist card....
What you said. I, too, just had to walk away from the TV. I simply couldn't stand watching all those sheople cheer the final nail in the coffin of our once great Nation. (Of course, I'd probably feel the same way if McAmnesty had won). On the other hand, at least McCain isn't some mongel...
Happily, five votes from our household went to Chuck Baldwin (just like we all voted for Michael Peroutka/Chuck Baldwin on the Constitution Party ticket in '04). With all the people that I'm hearing that have or are voting third-party this election cycle, I'm hoping Chuck will garner enough...
Seeing as how Chuck Baldwin (Constitution Party nominee - Baldwin2008.com ) has already put out a press release saying that should he get elected, he was plannning to appoint Dr. Paul to that same position, I can only hope that it will ensure a Baldwin/Castle win!! :D:eek:
