I didn't have internet except for 3G on my phone so I just waited until now that I'm back to civilization. My name is Jack (from TCU) if you were there. Even though it was in the middle of nowhere, we got a lot of stuff done. We had a lot of good speakers at the beginning- Mike Rothfeld was very energetic and blunt, while Dimitri Kesari of Right to Work had a nice trademark bowtie. On Thursday we met Rand in downtown Louisville and walked a few blocks to a coal rally. We were the only group there, and Trey Grayson had a very smug look on his face. It was really something to see, and worth waking up at 7 on spring break for.
The door-to-door was a bit rough at first with several groups in the same neighborhood but was made more efficient over the next two days. It was a great opportunity to meet a lot of other people with like-minded views and talk Austrian economics over a campfire as well as meet some other Texans who can help me start a YAL chapter here at TCU next year.
