There's at least two good counties that will be electing delegates. I think you know which I'm talking about. And my optimistic theory right now is: why elect so many alternates anyway? Maybe there are always lots of delegates whose schedules change and they end up not being able to make it. And so maybe there is a reasonable, or at least non-zero, chance that an alternate will end up actually being able to step in and be a real delegate.

I am all too familiar with this, nevertheless, thank you for working so hard in Wyoming! The process up there, from what I understand, is owned lock, stock, and barrel by the establishment, so ANY result better than 4th is to be celebrated...at least until we take over the establishment.

WY is my chosen bugout location if the wheels come off, so keep it safe for me up there.

WY is on our short list of possible states to move to. ID is our other option. We are looking at getting involved more in local politics, had no desire before Ron Paul. We'd love to be able to help make a difference.

I can't believe so few people vote in WY (really all the caucus states). This election cycle has been a real eye opener for us.

You make a good point. However, in the campaign's defense, media isn't reporting on the WY results (yet.) If you google it, Daily Paul and RPFs come up as the top sources. The media may not even report on it until all of the counties are in, and I don't know how widespread that reporting will be.

John King mentioned WY as coming up after AZ and MI at least twice on CNN--during the debate and afterwards when he interviewed Paul.

Right, I guess my mind was more in the "how many more tonight" mindset. I saw you posted the results earlier. Do you have any info on those counties? Could they produce large turnouts?

No. Two of the remaining counties are in the bottom three in number of registered Republicans. I'm estimating there will be less than 300 votes in the last 5 counties.

Campaign dropped the ball on this one, IMO. They could have sent anyone out and have competed for 1st.
