Wyoming caucus results - 8% reporting

Not sure how true it is and hopefully it isn't, but a guy I was talking to from Wyoming the other day said Romney had all but two of the delegates locked up.

Weston County has chosen an alternate delegate: Donna Bunch, and she is undeclared.

What does it mean when a delegate is undeclared under the wyoming system? The other delegate is voting for Mitt Romney, but this delegate can vote for whoever she chooses up to election day? It doesn't make sense.

Thanks for the update Diana. Is there any way you can keep posting.....because your doing a better job than any of the national media outlets:)

Can somone please explain the Wyoming caucus process?

It seems as though it is a winner take all system with each precinct electing one delegate who votes for whoever gained the plurality of the voting. If that is the case, then it is quite likely that Ron Paul could receive zero delegates even though he could be polling relatively high but just not first in any one precinct.

Thoughts?

Some conventions haven't even started yet. I have more than 2 hours before mine starts, but I'm getting ready to go now, just stopped by here quick first.

So Far:

Albany County has chosen Tammy Johnson as their delegate and she is supporting Mitt Romney.

Weston County has chosen an alternate delegate: Donna Bunch, and she is undeclared.

We love you Diana ;)

Good luck!!

Well, we will at least have one vote by Diana and I think I saw another person on these forums from Wyoming...so that makes 2 votes for Ron Paul out of the 12 people who live in Wyoming.

I hope a few of the other 10 support Ron Paul too. I wonder if Diana and the other guy were hogging the only computer in the state to check Ron Paul forums.

It would be awesome if we end up being the only other candidate (other than Romney) with delegates from this state!

lol

why is wyoming a state.

When Ron Paul was in Wyoming a couple months ago. There was a huge turn out. I know people in Wyoming support him. We still have a long way to go today.

Yeah but most of them probably didn't try to get on precinct committees.

Is there any trustworthy media coverage in Wyoming that we can followup with. usatoday is with the old msm group. We have been shown what they do for reporting the news and coverage of selected candidates. Is there any information regarding each precinct captain for Ron Paul calling a home location for Ron Paul with the final tallies so we know for sure what the numbers are? It seems that this would be simple for each state to arrange for Ron Paul.
