WTF, Kinky Friedman?? Texas Tribune is reporting that he's endorsing PERRY!

No, Kinky! No!

I voted for him in the first election I was eligible to vote. :( I HAVE HIS ACTION FIGURE.
 
Friedman is a socialist, what else would y'all expect. An endorsement of a real conservative? Remember this when you see comments extolling on about how conservative Perry is.

Kinky Friedman is a good man. No reason to bash him as many here have.

I would be surprised if he is, in fact, endorsing Perry. But I am sure he would have his reasons. Remember, he endorsed Bill White as well.
 
Not really sure why this is surprising to people. Perry has a lot of money to throw at people who don't like him. That money in turn garners their political support.

I read it as he supported Perry over Obama, not that he supported Perry over the other presidential candidates. Sounds like he's believing the MSM lie that Perry has already won the nomination.
 
He supports giving 7 times the foreign aid to Israel's enemies and the leash we keep on them in regards to self-defense. If we didn't let them attack Syria's nuclear facilities like they did in Iraq in the 80's during Operation Opera, we probably won't let them snipe Iran's facilities in the middle of the night (and Israel WILL know when Iran gets close enough). We would probably quagmire ourselves in an occupation like the idiots we have shown to be, further bankrupting ourselves and spreading our forces thinner.

In short, he hates Israel and doesn't even realize it :P
