Would you pay $500 for a photo & a minute with Ron Paul?

Of course I would if at least part of the dough went to local candidates.

Nope. But if someone wanted to start a scam PAC that promised to use all money to try to convince Ron Paul to charge $500 for a minute with anyone, I might be stupid enough to donate. :)

No. $100, maybe $200 if the picture was framed. The picture would have to be one of the good ones, in front of a formal backdrop, with both of us in suits, suitable for hanging in a conservative office environment.

I would pay $1,000 for a small private luncheon, but based on the success I saw at another event, not many people can afford that.

Let's say the money was going to a Liberty Candidate (Schiff, Rand, etc.), and I was going to donate that much anyway, then sure, I would give it. I agree with angel though, picture needs to be framed, preferably signed.

Well no...but perhaps fifty dollars. I spoke with Jesse Benton and Dr. Paul doesn't even charge any money to go to speaking engagements. God Bless that man. He's the only decent one in Washington. Jesse Benton was VERY nice ...just a very nice fellow. Tones

The better question is "would Ron Paul be willing to pay $500 for a photo & a minute with me?"

I would gladly bake 500 chocolate chip cookies in exchange for the chance to give Ron Paul a hug for all his hard work. ;)

Isn't C4L doing $10,000/30 minutes with him?

That's about $333.33 a minute, or $5.56 a second.

Thing is...for most of the people on the board, what if anything new, is he going to tell you? Half the people here could probably recite some of his speeches.

A 1 minute chat would be kind of awkward. Would Jesse B. lead you away by the ear when you hit the 60th second?

I keep thinking of the scene from A Christmas Story where Ralphie and his brother go to meet Santa.
