"Winning Muslim Support in Michigan" - From a Muslim!

My current college roommate (and friend from high school) is an Arab Muslim whose family is from Yemen. His older sister in Michigan supports Ron Paul. He knows that she is part of a community of people who have a strong awareness of what is really going on overseas. However, she is not going to vote for Ron Paul because "he has no chance of winning." Instead, she is going to vote on the Democratic side as "uncommitted." The low percentages we've been getting might hurt us with not just Muslims, but with all voters in general. If I'm not mistaken, I remember someone on this board saying that many McCain voters were favorable to Ron Paul in the exit polls, but did not vote for him because he "had no chance."Even with the "secret strategy" of letting it all rest on Super Tuesday, the "he can't win" factor is something we will have to overcome.

im disgusted with ppl who say stuff like tht. its a loser mentality which if they had ever played sports at any level absolutely ensures a loss.

Maybe he should include the somewhat racist remarks from the other GOP candidates.

so she votes for a democrate as UNCOMMITED.. If that is NOT a wasted vote, what is? I guess not voting.

You better get on the horn and straighten her out and have her vote. NO MORE voting for the lesser of two evils OR voting for what the media tells us.

set her straight pronto.

Ron Paul is clear choice

Pls Remind her : "When the founder (Prophet) of islam Mohammad started preaching, only 2 men and one women supported him. These 3 supporters stood up for idealogy by rejecting establishment. So this is idealogy that should guide her whom to vote. Ron Paul is clear choice on that."

getting the muslim vote...

I checked out your site, you gotta balance it out a bit, I realise that you're trying to get the muslim vote so dissing israel is somewhat neccessary, but look at it this way, there is no "white nationalists for ron paul .com" even though they talk about him a lot on stormfront, my point is, I'm not stupid, I know that Israel isn't the angel it makes itself out to be, I know that within Israel you can be dispossessed of your property if you happen to be muslim, do westerners realise that? Do we get it? Imagine if your black next door neighbour had his house bulldozed by the government with him and his family still in there so that they could build a new house on the same property for a white family to move into, that's how absurd Israel is, but people can't grasp that concept, and some fuckin' news broadcast on TV is going to say "look at this muslim anti Israel website, they support Ron Paul, therefore he is an anti-semite" and that's all people will hear, and they will imagine in their head, jews being marched into the gas chamber, that's what they've been taught to think for the last 50 years, so balance it out a bit, explain how America supports these other oppresive regimes such as Saudi Arabia and how Ron Paul is against ALL foreign aid, not just aid to Israel, at the very least this will show muslims that he IS electable, because cutting aid to the arab countries will appeal to non-muslims, muslims will know that they're not backing a losing horse, him ideas appeal to everyone.
