My current college roommate (and friend from high school) is an Arab Muslim whose family is from Yemen. His older sister in Michigan supports Ron Paul. He knows that she is part of a community of people who have a strong awareness of what is really going on overseas. However, she is not going to vote for Ron Paul because "he has no chance of winning." Instead, she is going to vote on the Democratic side as "uncommitted." The low percentages we've been getting might hurt us with not just Muslims, but with all voters in general. If I'm not mistaken, I remember someone on this board saying that many McCain voters were favorable to Ron Paul in the exit polls, but did not vote for him because he "had no chance."Even with the "secret strategy" of letting it all rest on Super Tuesday, the "he can't win" factor is something we will have to overcome.
