Statistically, from the actual votes, if you want the older and more educated vote, win them over... don't try to beat them into submission.

The message of liberty is stronger than Hannity, Limbaugh or Fox News. I used to listen to Limbaugh all the time and I'm a subscriber to his website. Yet I still came around to Paul and it was all due to his persistent message. Telling people what they should or shouldn't listen to just makes all Paul supporters look like psychos.

It's almost like the younger generation were raised in an environment where everything is "us v. them", "if you're not with us you're against us", "red v. blue", "my team uber alles", "the other side is full of pussies and dorks", along with "might makes right", "my way or the highway" and such drivel.

Oh, wait. They were! In government schools where the curricula and teachers are government-approved, and team sports drill the "us v. them" mentality into them over and over.

I disagree, most viewers don't know BS at all when it comes from a talk show host they have an imaginary friendship with. Watch O'Reilly and study how the social dynamics work, the viewer is trained to share O'Reilly's likes and dislikes just as when you watch a Hollywood film the film itself places you into the perspective of the main character such as in the Spiderman movies with actor Tobey maguire, you are Peter Parker, so when someone bullies him you feel like you are being bullied and you become angry at the character who is bullying him, that's exactly how propaganda works and it works the same way on O'Reilly. When the viewer has a bond with O'Reilly the viewer then sees issues from behind O'Reilly's eyes, from his point of view, thus when O'Reilly says, "Ron Paul would let Iran commit a Second Holocaust on the Jews" the viewer gets a gut reaction, "Oh man that Ron Paul guy is sick, I'm not going to vote for him." The viewer doesn't question O'Reilly's motives or look for flaws in his argument because they feel a personal bond with him and with that bond comes a certain trust that he knows what he's talking about and wouldn't lie to them.

What do you mean by "people who are stuck on Fox News?" You are one of those people, and yes those people are stupid for doing that. Furthermore, Hannity being from your "hometown" doesn't mean he's not a sellout scumbag. The guy who committed the Atlanta child murders in the 1980's was from my hometown but you don't see me being a huge fan of his.
