William Weld: NAFTA "is the supreme law of the land"

Mexico did ratify it as a treaty; there weren't enough votes in the US Senate to ratify it as a treaty, so it was entered into as an agreement.

The US can withdraw with a simple majority vote of Congress.

I think he meant it like you don't shit in your own back yard, plus it probably has had a worse impact in Mexico then it did us, even though it did trickle down to us eventually, their 60% unemployment and they still don't want to come here for jobs and immigration is lower every year.. It's likely to not help our relationships with our trading partners if we don't fuck you all of them. It's kind of like Trump asking for peoples votes after he offended them, its just not going to happen.

it seems the Libertarian party is becoming the mainstream Republican party. next time they will run Ryan

The only difference between Ryan and Weld that I know of, is that Ryan says he prefers Trump, and Weld says he prefers Clinton.

Who knows if Trump really means what he says about NAFTA, but one thing is for sure. There is ZERO chance that Johnson/Weld are going to get rid of NAFTA when Weld incorrectly believes it is the law of the land. He wouldn't anyway. Seeing as it is one leg of his beloved North American Union.

Ryan endorsed Trump.

Only because he felt he had to. He then proceeded to go back to stabbing him in the back. He's even threatened to sue him over stopping the importation of Muslims, until there is an adequate method to vet them.
