I think he meant it like you don't shit in your own back yard, plus it probably has had a worse impact in Mexico then it did us, even though it did trickle down to us eventually, their 60% unemployment and they still don't want to come here for jobs and immigration is lower every year.. It's likely to not help our relationships with our trading partners if we don't fuck you all of them. It's kind of like Trump asking for peoples votes after he offended them, its just not going to happen.

Who knows if Trump really means what he says about NAFTA, but one thing is for sure. There is ZERO chance that Johnson/Weld are going to get rid of NAFTA when Weld incorrectly believes it is the law of the land. He wouldn't anyway. Seeing as it is one leg of his beloved North American Union.
