Will Biden be replaced?

Will Biden be replaced as the Democrat party candidate for POTUS 2024?

Rob Reiner says Joe should step down
James Carville says it's inevitable
Michael Moore calls for Biden to step aside - calls it elder abuse
Stephen King...
Abigail Disney...
Ari Emanuel...

And it's not going to get better. The flood gates are open. And every public appearance by Biden will add more and more donors. In spite of their protestations, the left doesn't give 2 $#@!s about "democracy" - they want power. And they will easily ditch any semblance of a "democratic" selection if it means a better shot at power.

I'm sticking with Michele Obama. But it could really be a cheese sandwich at this point - all they need to do is have some short term excitement ginned up by the press and fake polls and the intel agencies will take care of the rest.

The only one who matters in the above is Carville. He said: "I don't predict things. I'm just telling you it's inevitable," James Carville, 79, told NewsNation's Chris Cuomo...

Carville has inside info with the Clintons. Like Larry Nichols always said... she is never going to stop trying to get in the White House.

Biden has zero chance resisting both Bill and Barack. And if Michelle doesn't want it, Hillary is the #2 dog.

Apparently Pelosi is throwing Biden under the bus. She will not endorse. That probably means the end is near.

Clooney now. Says the Biden he met three weeks ago is "not the same man" as he knew in 2010 or 2020.

Yep.

And the longer Biden draws this out, the more high up Democrats will join that chorus. It will continue until he caves, which he is bound to eventually. There's nothing he can do to win them back over, because his cognitive decline is real, and getting worse by the month.

If any Republicans tried to do this to Trump, it would be political suicide for them. Like it or not.

Oh for sure Hillary is still angling! She wants it so bad she can taste it and seeing an opportunity there's no way she won't pounce! That being said, I think the party elite don't really like her and she's prone to senior moments of her own. I think Michelle has the best track, but it won't happen until after Trump's convention and his VP pick.

You know these strategists they have working for them are well-versed in game theory. They've got all the 'known' possibilities mapped out, as well as the timing and canned messaging ready to go. The "Draft Michelle" movement is going to seem organic, but they know what they're doing.

One theory that has been floated is that the Dems are going to lose anyway, so might as well blame it on the crazy old guy at the top of the ticket, which is why they want to keep him in the race.

Yeah, not buying that theory. Having control of the Executive branch is a power so desirable that they will lie, cheat, and steal to get it. As much as we decry their ideology, these people are driven by power first and foremost.

Starting to look like Moochelle really doesn't want it, and there will be a small field of contenders.

NBC News' Lester Holt will interview President Joe Biden while he's in Austin for a visit to the LBJ Presidential Library on Monday.

A thought just occurred to me. By replacing Biden with RFK Jr., Democrats can safely pull a 180 on the COVID vaccines and start saying they're dangerous in an attempt to save face. They can easily blame the medical fallout caused by them on Trump, since he was the one who oversaw their creation, and say he knew the vaccines were dangerous the entire time while Biden is a poor victim who was duped and conned by Trump, who took advantage of his declining health.

BREAKING

BIDEN TO GIVE MAJOR NEWS CONF TOMORROW

Not seeing that anywhere.

Biden takes on a rare challenge: a solo news conference

President Joe Biden will hold a closely watched news conference on Thursday, marking another high-stakes moment for the president to show off his skill in answering questions in an unscripted setting.

The appearance will come at the conclusion of a critical NATO summit where foreign diplomats will have a front row seat to observe his ability to lead on the global stage.

Biden has held a historically low number of news conferences compared to his most recent predecessors – and has been encouraged by his top allies to lean into more “off-the-cuff,” casual moments in the aftermath of last month’s debate performance.

When he takes the podium Thursday evening, it will be just the 15th time Biden has held a solo news conference, and the first time since November 2023 – an engagement that ran 21 minutes. His average solo news conference has been roughly 37 minutes long.

Just to add something to my previous post (above) ... comparing Biden to previous presidents on candidness and openness

Biden has held 36 news conferences to date, including 14 solo and 22 joint news conferences alongside other world leaders.
...
Former President Donald Trump, by contrast, held 88 news conferences overall during his presidency, and at the same point in his presidency, he had held 64 news conferences, 16 of which were solo, according to an analysis of University of California at Santa Barbara’s American Presidency Project data. Former President Barack Obama held 163 news conferences and had held 72 at this point in his presidency, 32 of which were solo. And former President George W. Bush held 210 news conferences during his presidency, and 82 at this point in his presidency, 15 of which were solo.

Recent presidents who had held fewer news conferences at this point include former President Ronald Reagan, at 25, and former President Richard Nixon, at 24.

Yeah, and if you believe that, you'll probably believe the other line that Biden won't be dropping out. Her portrayed reluctancy is just one more ploy to gain a couple of poll points.

Why is Trump still attacking Biden if he knows he's going to drop out? Shouldn't he be using this time to attack the people who have a pretty good chance at replacing him?
