No conspiracy or racism.

Identity politics at its finest, bribe people with other peoples money to get them vote for you.

It's real simple. The elites would rather rule the third world than the first world, for obvious reasons.

The third world people have no other option than to suck the government tit. (apologies if stating the obvious)

There's nothing racist about merely acknowledging that. It's when you oppose it that you show your true colors.

I'd rather be surrounded by immigrants than deplorables any day.

I'm not sure why you think that's obvious. But it's actually completely false. The third world people I know are hard workers and tend to be much more averse to sucking the government teat than native-born Americans are.

Your anecdotal evidence trumps facts. Most immigrants lack college education which, as we all know, is a necessary ingredient to be successful in this country. Why else we would be spending so much on it?

1. Desperation
2. Lack of education

They aren't bad people, but they make the perfect slaves.

My anecdotal evidence is factual.

No, a college education is not a necessary ingredient to being successful in this country. Not by a long shot. Most jobs do not require one.

First gen Hispanic immigrants overwhelmingly favor more government:

For 81 percent of first-generation Hispanic immigrants, a bigger government is more desirable. For the second generation, the preference drops to 72 percent. By the third generation, only 58 percent prefer bigger government.

Thankfully that number drops as they see what a failure that is...but that doesn't matter as more are imported to make up the difference.

This trend holds true with almost all immigrant demographics, the overwhelmingly favor bigger and more intrusive government.

Liberal, individualist, bottom up based government, focused on protection of individual rights, is a uniquely western idea, and one that is under constant assault.

Sadly, it is losing that battle, for a number of reasons, such as the weak sauce, lackluster defense of these ideals and traditions by people who should know better, but the primary one being that freedom is NOT popular, and never really has been.

Reactions: RJB
Voting patterns change. Blacks were overwhelmingly Republican until the Great Depression and Southern whites were overwhelmingly Democrat 50 years ago. I think the GOP won the Asian vote a few times.

Also, remember that a lot of people on the left hate religion, that could change things in the future.
