Why was Bastiat's The Law banned?

Yep. Me too. It kind of plucked me for a while since I've probably forgotten more about how the world works than he tried to pull of that he knew. Whatever though. I guess his efforts are admirable but not always wise to think it's possible to skip dinner and dig into dessert. These are things learned over time. Not always best understood by the yungins.
 
I've just read through all that. I probably shouldn't have.

All I can say is that it makes me very sad. I am still baffled as to why Bastiat's the Law was banned.

Some people may think that it is no big deal if someone gets a one week ban. I don't agree. If they did nothing which warranted a ban, it is a big deal if they get banned even for a single day, because it is unjust.

Now THAT is just plain creepy. You actually followed my previous post and spilled this over from another thread... which is why your statement on my being here being a bit pathetic is also a bit funny. Add to that the fact that it is on a thread where someone's temporary banishment is being lamented, and I seriously don't think I'm the one overinvested in the virtual world of RPFs.

No, I'm just here between campaigns, happy that people I know and helped are being sworn in, bummed that Ron has to retire, enjoying his retirement speech, speaking with friends, reading articles, and using half of my screen to work on other projects. I'm sure, though, that I must maintain an absolutely serious mien because, after all, this is the internet. It is serious business. :p
