It's autonomous just like how Russia has many autonomous republics with the Federation.
Ossetia has been a part of Georgia for centuries. Read about it.
But I really don't care, because in their last election they had a 90%+ voter turnout and 95%+ of the voters want NOTHING TO DO WITH GEORGIA.
Georgia does not get to have South Ossetia just because they have had it for centuries. They have their own government and the citizens want nothing to do with Georgia. Georgia is tyrannical, so I definetely support the decisions of the citizens.
You still are missing the point. Georgia bombed innocent Russian civilians and South Ossetian civilians, and many Russian peace officers were killed. Russia had a reason for invading Georgia, while you and the rest of the MSM are ignoring it for some reason.
