Well, it must matter if "God" is referenced as "Him". A physical being.
What do you mean by this?

Why ask people's opinions as to why Christians are hated. It's right there in the Bible. Once again, God has done your thinking for you.
You're welcome.

Depends upon who is asking or how it's asked now that SA threw a monkey wrench into it. Don't really feel like scribbling a few paragraphs though. So...what do you mean, "What do I mean?"![]()
A rejection of this life, yes, but an embrace of what is truly life.Christianity at its core is a rejection of life.
Yes, because the love of this world ends in eternal death. At it's basics, it teaches you to hate this life,
Yes, because we are by nature evil, and evil is contrary to the holiness of God.hate your natural instincts,
Yes, because this world is going to pass away and in the last day we must all give an account to the Lord (and if you do not have a perfect righteousness, you will go to Hell eternally).hate this imperfect world
Yes. And I pray that God makes me hate this world, and love my heavenly inheritance all the more.and long to be dead so that you can go to an unseen paradise.
Yes.It teaches you that you are born imperfect and into sin.
On a whim? No. Election is based on God's unchanging, universal, and eternal council, not a whim. And solely based on the whim of an unseen God can he choose to grant you grace from your sin.
No. Maybe in the false Roman Catholic religion they teach that, but the Bible doesn't teach that and Christianity doesn't teach that.It teaches you to be a sheep and not question authority.
Everything that is needed for life and knowledge is either expressely laid out in Scripture, or is by good and necessary consequence deduced from Scripture. "Magic" is just name-calling.It teaches you that everything you need to know is contained in a magic book.
People are "attracted" to God because He chooses to reveal himself to them. The reason that you and the rest of the world is not attracted to the Lord and to His free gift of imputed righteousness is that God has not revealed Himself to you, and may never do it. Just be sure of one thing: God is in complete control of everything, including your unbelief. The only way you will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ is if the Father wants you to.I simply cannot fathom why people are attracted to this religion.
So you are just reacting against Roman Catholicism, not Christianity. The Roman Catholic church has massacred millions people, most notably TRUE CHRISTIANS, for centuries. Roman Catholicism is not Christianity, and mixing religion with the state is not a Christian idea. If you are going to react against "Christianity", at least realize what is Christianity and what is not.But I guess that's what 2000 years of brainwashing, witch-trials, inquisitions, and state control, can do to people. I view Christianity the same way that Constantine viewed it, as a way to control the masses.
Because most Christians are hypocrites and love bombing brown people.

Probably the most taken out of context Marx quote evarrrr.Crypto-Bolsheviks. Religion is the opiate of the masses.
It's not so much the Christianity as it is some of their followers.

But then, apparently non-Christians also look for reasons to hate or this thread would never have started.![]()
