Why aren’t libertarians rejecting Rand Paul’s fight against Planned Parenthood?

The article states
anarchist or minarchist dabblers in libertarian politics view laws against abortion as the denial of a human right.

Maybe. Maybe not. Some do. Some don't. But where did this person get the idea that a libertarian would want the government to pay for someone else's abortion?

The article only quotes from "libertarians" who are atheists and who are wrong on the issue. The abortion issue is another reason why atheists can't be consistent libertarians.

There is no libertarian position on abortion, since the question revolves around whether the unborn is a person or not, which is outside the scope of libertarianism.

The libertarian position on government funding of abortion, however, is crystal clear: it's wrong.

atheists can't be consistent libertarians.

Why is that?

I didn't know that Justin Ramaindo was pro choice. I just lost all respect for him. He goes on and on about how "Republicans want to kill innocent people overseas" but then has absolutely no problem at all with allowing the murder of over 1 million babies every year. It's probably a good thing that someone with such inconsistent views doesn't support Rand.

Even for pro-choice libertarians, why would they want goverent funding for it?

Because the media defines libertarianism as simply being "fiscally conservative and socially liberal." And funding for Planned Parenthood is the "socially liberal" position, and they would argue that it doesn't cost very much money.

The libertarian philosophy is freedom for all, to live the way they wish; without government interference IMO. Being a libertarian does not give one a license to kill. Freedom for yourself, and your loved ones... But you can't take away the freedom and God given rights of another human being, in the process. The taking of one's life is not a right. As a libertarian, I just want to be left alone to enjoy my life. In turn, I wish to do nothing that will hinder another's life.

And why, as a libertarian, would we ever wish the money we are forced to pay this "FEDERAL" Government should be used to kill people; at whatever point in life they are? Not this libertarian.

Actually "Live and Let Live" might be an appropriate cliche in response.

Brett answers your question:

It boils down to government funding: no; sale of body parts: well, that is an ethical issue and if libertarians think that is ok then I guess I am not one.

how about the fact that its murder and the invention of the organization was eugenics
