I haven't implied anything horrible about anyone, amyPI knows a compliment when she sees one. Why would being given good, solid advice like I've been doing run you off?

I'll bet that amyPI could prove otherwise, if she was so inclined.

While I'm not inclined, I probably could if I were younger and not so freaking jaded. I had an ex-military dad who wouldn't tolerate my or my brother's hypersensitivity. It's an observation thing, and just like with anyone else, the bad stuff sticks more than the good.

My daughter's the same way, but she's extremely vocal about it, where I wasn't.

I didn't find it offensive, especially compared to things that others have said about you, which you didn't seem to take offense at. If someone offended you, perhaps it would be best to take it up with them, rather than me.

I don't have a clue but I feel welcome here. There are lots of people with similar views here and generally speaking people are sincere and friendly.. Some moral qualities that are hard to find in the rest of the world.

You must think Ron Paul is a liar, then, because he has said he was running to win. He's said what you said, too, but the two are not mutually exclusive.

Would ANYBODY have ever voted for him (or ever given him money) if he didn't say that? I really kinda doubt it.

For example, I read Dr3D's posts as just a humorous distraction from the thread. You decided to read it like a psychological, metaphorical insult.

Of course, the fact that we aren't all alike is a large source of the friction between people. But it would still be worse if we were all identical. The whole world would be after your job.
