I was a pretty solid Romney/Ryan guy. After the convention I'm on the fence for voting for him or writing in RP (I will never vote GJ or Obama). Living in Ohio, I voted proudly for RP in the primary, and as much as they have been criticized on these forums, I must admit I'm part of the anybody but Obama crowd. I say this because I fear a second term will allow him to solidify the damage he's already done (Obamacare), and create some more damage that might not be able to be repealed in the future (cap and trade, taxes, new executive orders, etc). Furthermore, in order to strengthen our unique brand of libertarian Republicanism, I think we need a Republican House, Senate, and White House. With Obama at the top, all our liberty guys like Lee, Rand, and DeMint will be able to do is say no. That does nothing for our cause because we will be in lockstep with the Republicans. However, if we own a Senate majority, House majority, and White House, we will be able to influence policy by having Rand and Lee for example threaten to filibuster expanded military spending, wars, etc..Think about it, rather than the entire Republican party fighting Obama, we can just devote our resources to the war in the Republican party, that being the pro-liberty wing against the neo/social cons. Any Republican senate majority will require unanimous party support, so Rand for example can stop overspending or intervention. I also feel Romney is a mere puppet, and will be pushed around by whoever threatens him in the party the most. Remember, they can rewrite the rules at the RNC, but they can't stop grassroots money and support in other races. It's simple, if we are unhappy with what Romney is doing, we start an insurgency with Rand or Ron, etc...It's much healthier for the libertarians to ride the wave of grassroots support/momentum now than have to sit on the sidelines for 4 years and just say no with all the other fake Republicans to Obama.

Very well said mario. I used to be a Ron Paul or no one guy. As much as i dislike the neocon couple, I think i've decided Romney/Ryan. We can only hope the neocons will go along with the liberty republicans in congress and the senate. And we can only hope the liberty republicans, with out fear of retaliation from the party, will stand up to excessive spending and regulations by the neocons. You bring up a valid point, this could very well be either the beginning of the remodel of the republican party or the division of the republicans into the libertarian party and the republican party. As much as I don't like the idea of a 2 party system, I think it's what we are stuck with. And instead of splitting off into a 3rd party where we'd never get the full support, we should be focusing on changing the republican party back to it's core values. And I think you're right, the only way to do that is to ensure we have a majority in all 3 branches. The only thing i'm worried about is the freshmen liberty republicans selling out to make friends and gain support/votes. Some of the tea party candidates did it.

Who the fuck voted Romney? Were they not watching the shennanigans they've been pulling for the last YEAR?

Mostly trolls, ignore them.

People who see Romney as the better candidate and want to vote for him are not "trolls." You're intentionally alienating your fellow Ron Paul supporters for no reason. We don't all share a brain.

They just created accounts,, There is no reason to believe they are or ever were Ron Paul supporters.
just because someone makes an account here does not make them a supporter.

We have had quite a few join to stir shit.

Voted Virgil Goode but on the fence between Gary Johnson or Goode.

Reason I consider Goode is because I'm a Virginian, and Goode has a shot to get double digit percentage of votes in the commonwealth :-).

I wanna stick it to Obamney.
