I already caucused for Rand here in Iowa. With Rand out, I'm mildly supporting Ben Carson for now (although I know he has no chance to win the nomination), and then I will vote LP in the general (hopefully Gary Johnson will be the LP nominee).
Pleased to see more people here support Trump, than Cruz or any other candidate. Trump is the only one who has the courage to talk about the problem of immigration, which is the defining issue of our time.

I've been hoping folks would just vote for Rand in the primary anyway. So what if he isn't actively campaigning? If he's on the ballot, why not vote for him?
What surprised me was a poll a few days ago which included a question on the second choice of each candidate. Bush, Rubio, and Christie were the second choice for about half of Rand voters combined. Cruz got 4% of Rand's support, Trump 0%. This shows that rank-and-file Rand supporters won't just run to the next "anti-establishment" candidate. At least half of them would prefer non Trump/Cruz
I won't be voting for any Republicrat nominee, but I will be rooting for Trump to smash the shit out of the GOP. Rand was the only Republican worth voting for. Now I just want to see the GOP get kicked in the teeth and Trump might be good for that.
