Who is your second favorite canidate?

Of the Dems, I like Gravel.

Of the Republicans, I'd probably have to vote for Tancredo. We disagree on a lot but agree on more than the other candidates...and plus, Ron says he's a good friend and Ron's opinion carries a lot of weight with me.

Based off of the debates tonight, I would say Huckabee or Thompson... Now wait! It wouldn't be because of their beliefs. It is so the American public could have someone entertain them as vice-president while Ron Paul was busy get stuff done. People could smile and laugh at their little jokes, bringing some lighthearted friendly goofiness to the government. No major vice-presidential powers here. Just let Dr. Paul be able to get things done without having to do all the cutesy friendly publicity shots. Let his vice do that. And these guys could do that without actually being able to have serious power to make decisions.
Just a thought.

I'm anarchist, so I will be registering so I can vote for Ron in the primary and then if he is not the nominee, I'll write in his name in the general, that's the only "election" I'm voting in.

It would be hard to pick a second choice because most of them lie. What you hear isnt what you are going to get. That being said I might pick Tancredo if he would wake up to real reasons for the Iraq fiasco.

I thought Romney might possibly be an okay second choice. At least it would be better than voting for Hillary...

But then he said some things in one of the earlier debates that put him on about the same page as her in my book. And his performance last night... well that was just shameful.

I've really come to believe that there is no second choice, because there is no second chance for this nation. We've already used our second chance and then some, and we're quickly running out of chances. This is it. This is do or die for this nation. We either fix it, or we lose it. Period.

The only other Repub candidate I'd consider supporting is Tancredo...and that is a BIG maybe.

If Paul were not on the ballot in November 2008 I plan on voting for the Constitution Party candidate. Probably Chuck Baldwin or Bob Smith from what I hear.

I get sooooo tired of hearing that lesser of evil crap. Problem is that Americans are accustomed to thinking that way because that is all we have had in the past several elections.

This time, for a change, we actually have a choice! We can vote for a great candidate instead of the lesser of evils.

Tanredo. As least he's genuine and isn't a CFR member. Also, I know from personal experience that you can talk to Tancredo about FACTS and will then take them into consideration and change his stance, if necessary. I don't agree with him on everything but he has always been very complimentary of Dr. Paul in conversation and when I told him last year that he and Dr. Paul would be my dream candidates for Pres and v-Pres., he said he was honored to be put in the same category with Dr. Paul! Also, Dr. Paul has been complimentary toward Tom as well.

Kucinich may be an honest man but he still honestly just another socialist. I would no vote for him. In fact if Ron Paul does not win i will not vote in the election along with 100million other americans.
