Who do you think has betrayed us the most?

Someone has something over Rush. He is compromised.

I know this will sound like the mother of all conspiracy theories, but I read recently that Rush has a new lady in his life and that they have been seeing each other for the past few months. Is it just a coincidence that such a convenient distraction should come along at one of the most critical moments in American politcs?

I think there is more to his personal life than we know.

He was busted with illegal viagra at an airport and he said he was just going to hang out "with the boys."

Also with all the prosecutors after him for his oxycontin addiction, I bet there was more that we'll never hear about.

Senator Nelson Aldrich
Woodrow Wilson
The Rockefeller Family
Lyndon Johnson

I blame our education system as well. All that has happened may not have happened if we had a literate and informed American public, taught in schools to know, understand, and TREASURE the Constitution.

Schools removed children from community life, seperated them from family, made them care more about the "group" than their individual rights. And it was ALL intentional- the bastards were patient enough to design a system to do this and wait a few generations for everyone to dumb down enough so they could pursue their goals in front of an unwitting, non objecting public.

What the hell is Illegal Viagra?

I never heard of this before. Unless you mean Viagra that he did not have a prescription for.
In my opinion all prescription drugs should be legal. I don't need Viagra but I do have an arthritis problem and it is a bitch trying to get a doctor to give you a presciption for pain killers.
This whole system is a racket.

We betrayed ourselves and our country by being fools and not doing anything about it for so many years. We are part to blame for this mess.I don't think it can be fixed without force though at the end. I hope I am wrong but I don't think I am.

Let's face it, a lot of people who claimed to care a lot about this nation have treated Ron Paul like dirt (i.e. the GOP, Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, the Religious Right, et al). Not to mention an awful lot of voters.

I feel like a man without a party.

"In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies,
but the silence of our friends."
-- Martin Luther King, Jr.

We betrayed ourselves.

In order to have betrayed Ron Paul they would have had to of supported him at some point, so I guess the biggest betrayers are the bigoted News Letter writers that have not self disclosed themselves to the media to clear Ron Paul’s name. I think they are an especially cowardly lot of people.

Anderson Cooper and its not even close

In all seriousness, the mainstream media. At least those of us who weren't aware of their true nature have had our eyes opened.

Well I personally don't care about his personal life but I'm guessing you're correct and there is something hanging over his head. And it's probably not his oxycontin addiction either.

I'm thinking pictures of something he would rather not have in the public domain.

No one but himself to blame if it's true though.

Unfortunately its a lot of our fellow countrymen that are to be blamed. You can never expect Gov, media etc to have a conscience and do the right thing. It's up to us to keep it in check and we stopped doing that a long time ago. All you need to do is ask yourself how you felt before this election cycle. Probably just like everyone else. Most of us are all guilty.

Who betrayed this election

1) In general the results look very good for Ron Paul - one man shaking the most powerful establishment of the world - and it has not even started yet ...

2) The leaders tell propose the people to be patriotic , and

At the same time the establishment tries to create Amero and N American Union

Brainwashing ..

No, I think Rush was compromised long before this.

Tee Vee and the people that run/own it.

Actually the buy up and concentration of Tee Vee and radio media/stations started with the Reagan deregulation so I'm not so sure Reagan was right on this once.

This is not betrayal but something which needs to be fixed in the future and it is the attitude of party's loyal supporters

Betrayed, meaning somebody who should have been on our side but wasn't?

Pat Buchanan is probably at the top of that list. The man who wrote "A Republic Not an Empire" should have been part of the R3VOLUTION from the get-go, and his endorsement would have cemented Dr Paul's standing as the only true conservative in the race. But for some reason, Buchanan's support has been non-existent or lukewarm at best. Lately he's been mouthing the establishment line that there are only two viable candidates remaining.

Evangelical Christians are next on my list. For years they've complained about the heavy hand of government interfering with their religious liberties. Their websites and radio shows often identify the Antichrist with the NWO. Dr Paul should have been an easy choice for them. But I guess their deference to Israel and the warmongers trumped everything else. :(

betrayed

Not done yet! :p

Also on the list, I have to put Reason magazine, the Cato Organization, and the other "cosmopolitans". They'd be at the very top if it weren't for the fact that they've had a longstanding grudge against Lew Rockwell and the "paleo" version of libertarianism. So it's hardly a surprise that they were unenthusiastic about Dr Paul's candidacy. But why couldn't they just stfu? Why did they have to maliciously smear him at a critical point in the campaign?
