Who do you think has betrayed us the most?

The American education system.

QFT The reason there are so many sheeple, the reason the media can't think past Britney Spears, the reason the majority of candidates running for president are childish and ignorent, the reason why the average reading level of high school graduates is 4th grade.

Hey, and the reason why I don't know how to write complete sentences.

The GOP has not only betrayed Ron Paul and his supporters, but also every single conservative principle once espoused by Ronald Reagan, Barry Goldwater, and Robert Taft. Ironically, the GOP has become the party of big brother government, a cradle to grave welfare state, and a belligerent foreign policy that would make even the old Soviet leaders blush.

You may think it's unreasonable to put so much blame on one person, but I think I feel most betrayed by Rush Limbaugh. Here's why:

- Unlike most of the media, Limbaugh is free to say whatever he wants. He's taken and survived plenty of risks throughout his career, so I don't accept any notion that his hands were tied.

- Limbaugh has always accused liberals of being afraid to compete in the arena of ideas. Yet, it is Ron Paul's "liberal" positions that Rush is obviously most afraid of.

- Limbaugh has always argued that Conservatism wins every time it's tried. Well, the Republicans are a longshot to win this election and none of their candidates is more conservative than Ron Paul.

- Limbaugh has been preaching for years about the Constitution, limited government, individual responsibility, and national sovereignty. Ron Paul has solidly defended those same ideals in Congress for over 20 years without wavering at any time.

- Limbaugh proudly boasts of being "America's Truth Detector". I can't recall a single politician in my lifetime that has been more truthful than Ron Paul. Even his opponents have refused to question his integrity.

Rush Limbaugh has no obligation to support Ron Paul's candidacy, but I personally feel that Limbaugh does have an obligation to live up to his reputation of espousing true conservative values. He has allowed and conducted frequent discussions of every candidate but Ron Paul. His complicity in censoring Ron Paul will not only deal a major blow to the Republican Party, but likely to the nation as well.

Rush Limbaugh has enjoyed a very prosperous and fulfilling career as the most prominent conservative voice in the country. Millions of people trust him.

To whom much is given, much is required.

I 100% agree. I was a fan starting in 1988, because he stood for what RP stands for. What killed it for me was his saying on many occasions, "Trust me folks, I know George (W) Bush and he's a conservative."

Rush's days are numbered though. Just a few months ago he bragged that he could sway enough voters to pick the rep. presidential candidate-- which he did in 2000 for W, but this time he's lost so much credibility, the louse can't get his boss Romney elected. (Even my folks are waking up.)

I feel bad for him. He really could of made his life worth something, but he sold his soul to the devil. (I almost mean that literally too.)

The same goes for Beck, Boortz, Hannity, etc. Basically I blame the so-called "conservative media."

Understand that the movement lead by Ron Paul is fighting against the most powerful entities that exist. Call them the New World Order, The illuminati, or whatever. These people, the ruling elites own the MSM, the military industrial complex, the medical industrial complex, etc. These people write the school books and set up the rules for teaching children. These people do not have a problem with money, they are interested in gaining more power and control. Eventually they aspire to rule the entire world.

I have been waiting for over twenty years for a social movement to come along and struggle against these forces and finally it has been born. Rather than look to blame someone for what is going wrong, take a closer look and notice all the things that are going right. We are on their radar screen and are relatively weak, but our strength is going to grow and they know it. They fear what we represent, freedom.

There is no going back now. The bait has been swallowed, the hook caught. We are the difference between Einstein and Newton, Feudalism and the enlightenment. The struggle is the antithesis that will produce a better country and planet. We cannot lose, this is our destiny.

Its easy to blame the media. The burden lies heavily with the general population. It's like there is no critical thinking that takes place in America anymore. Do they even teach this in school?!? Back in ancient Rome, rhetoric or some critical thinking courses were mandatory, and even then look what happened.
The best high school class I ever took was called "English media" which basically looked at advertising and encouraged critical thought when it came to media. I couldn't tell you what happened in most of my other courses, but I remember what that course taught me and I use those lessons on a daily basis.

George W. Bush.

He swore an oath to defend our constitution.

Traitor.

It does not supercede his oath to 322 Skull and Bones. Nor his fathers oath as head of The Black Nazi Continuum if one is to take the most astute and widely read of financial investigators by the Heads of State and Treasuries and huge funds and trusts.at his word. See http://www.worldreports.org/news

If you check Mr Story's archive for precognitive predictions that are accurate you will find he is almost always correct except if fed misleading info which he susses out in subsequent reports.
or google Black nazi Continuum.. WWII ain't over..for some..

I don't feel let down....I read the above post and am encouraged.....I used to think about the idiots who used to believe rush blindly and get swayed by his bs....why they believed his crap I think the poster can tell but am glad atleast some1 can look past the beck's, rush's and hanity's who just wanna make bucks out of you by joining team conservative.....much like the olberman's, etc make a buck by joining team liberals....stop with this mentality...follow the bloody constitution

follow the bloody constitution

That was Rush's message when he started in the late '80s. It still was when he was backing leaders who didn't follow the constitution. He probably quit talking about following the const. when Ron Paul hit the scene.

His fans are like the frog in the warm water that slowly boils. Many don't realize they are in the pressure cooker now.

All of the above... But I was particularly hurt by the betrayal of the NRA (though I expected them to reveal themselves as complete sellouts sooner or later).

Someone has something over Rush. He is compromised.

people

The people who complain about everything that we all complain about yet refuse to do anything about it. Many of them have heard the message of Dr. Paul but excuse away their failure to act by saying "he wont win". I do not know if they are brainwashed or just intellectually lazy but I place the blame for no runaway primary wins squarely on their shoulders. The good news is that we still have a ways to go and more and more people are deciding every day that they do want to do something about this. The war has just begun!
