If only Mace was a better speaker, this could be a slam dunk.
I like Mace, but if the debates were tomorrow, Graham would chew her, spit her out, and stomp on her.
She'd be humiliated on a national level. Actually, considering we're in the age of YouTube, on an international level.
Sherrod Brown ran as a supporter of term limits. Look how many times he's been re-elected.I don't really care about term limits. If I ran for office, I would say that I support term limits, just because that's the popular position and I don't see any solid evidence that supporting term limits is an anti liberty position. I would vote in favor of a term limits amendment if I were in Congress, but like I said, I really don't care much about the issue. It's an issue that I could go either way on.
Why do you think Mace is a stronger candidate than Bright?

One?
I was in a depressed mood and did it for a laugh. I did, however, post in the thread that it was a joke.
I'm guessing the other one was also a joke.
I disagree with you but I do agree that its not an anti-liberty position per say.
However, I agree with JBS that term limits just push the few pro-liberty people we get out. I actually used to agree with term limits until I heard the arguments against.
Not to mention Bright has legit social conservative credentials and just as legit liberty credentials, and EVERY candidate who has been able to bring those two factions together (Cruz, Cucinelli, Rand) has been able to defeat their primary opposition. Mace doesn't have the same social conservative credentials.
Bright being the social conservative that he is is part of the reason I don't support him over Mace. Hopefully Bright has been practicing responding to questions about rape.

Term limits would kick out Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and Mike Lee. Our work would be down the drain. They'll likely be replaced with statists.
You're not the only one. I've said about a hundred times on this forum that national politics, for the most part, is futile. It's great that we have people like Rand, Cruz, Lee, Amash, Massie, Sanford, Stockman, etc in Congress but the most they'll ever be able to do is slow the erosion of liberty down temporarily.
Washington will never relinquish the powers it has usurped. There will be no change ever coming from DC. Until the states forcefully take back their rightful authority under the Constitution nothing will change. We're already seeing this with NDAA nullification, marijuana legalisation, anti-drone legislation, and legal tender laws. Freedom will only come from the people through their state legislatures and voter referendums.
On top of that, almost every state legislature race can be won with under $100k, the majority with a fraction of that. A congressional run requires at least a million and a senate race in a big state will cost in the vicinity of $10 million. It just makes way more sense to focus on state races where real change can be seen.
That's why I'm so disappointed in how the majority on this forum ignored your race for state senate.![]()
I like both a lot, but I went with Bright. Bright has legislative experience and is likely to be more effective in the US Senate. Mace should really start off in a lower office like the US House or the SC Legislature. I've been saying since 2007 that the State Legislatures are more important than the US Congress and it's like screaming at a brick wall. Right now Congress is so bought and sold it's just for show. We can have real, profound, and greater impact on securing liberty in the State Legislatures. That, I have ben convinced for years now, is the biggest failing of the liberty movement. We go all gaga over federal races where people get the glory and the big paychecks, but can't really accomplish very much, and 'meh' over State Legislatures which don't pay squat and fade into the background, but where you can have real impact for liberty (unless you are outnumbered 119 to 1 lol).
