White House hints at crackdown on recreational marijuana

once again, overblown. Where is the crackdown?? The guidance in place in states where it is legal is preventing distribution of marijuana to children and preventing cartels from getting their hands on revenue from marijuana sales i.e. "greater enforcement" of current guidelines, and later Sean Spicer backtracked and just indicated ask the DoJ. The MSM is dying and relies on shock news for traffic.

'Watch his feet, not his mouth.'

...your republicrat fools' feet are always in their mouths....bigly....

..ugh...

...remember trumptards, it is YOUR guy who chose goddamned republican cretins like pence, sessions, spicer, etc. ad nauseam, who can't get it through their skulls that federal marijuana prohibition is not authorized by the federal constitution they claim to understand, respect, love...

Colorado Governor was in California last week talking about his experience with regulations/business structures of the billion dollar industry.
He was not on board at first and said it was the hardest thing he has done.

Once California . . . with Maine, Massachusetts, Oregon, Alaska are all in, it will be a moving train ya' don't want to be standing in front of.

I would refer to the Dept of Justice as well. This guy obviously doesn't know.

"This guy", as you call him, is the spokesman for the Trump administration, for crying out loud! Geez, Danno, hold them to the same standard you would for any other administration! You're behaving like a lapdog.

It's a sign of the cult of personality you're under. You're willing to give them the benefit of all doubt until they come up with something that sounds close enough to something you can agree with.

My impression is that Jefferson Sessions' confirmation hearing was mostly focused on "He's racist, just look what happened 35 years ago" instead of substantial policy issues like this.
Same goes for Trump -- during the campaign there was so much focus on the "outrageous" comment of the moment, countless questions about dead-end issues like his tax returns

ya know this is something we could make a difference in
if everyone who has access to twitter, facebook, reddit and comment sections in articles about this were to push H.R.975 we could get it to the floor for a vote

information on H.R.975 https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/115/hr975/text
how to contact your congressmen http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/
recent poll showing approval for respecting states marijuana laws at 71% https://www.mpp.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Quinnipiac-Poll-Feb-2017.pdf

Jeff Sessions says if Americans don’t want him to enforce marijuana laws, they should change them

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/je...juana-laws-they-should-change-them-2017-01-11

Well, I'll agree with him that the laws should be changed by Congress. He is just there to supposedly enforce the laws.

Interesting that the thread in "new topics" right now next to this is about how the transgender bathroom issue is up to the States, not the Feds. Same should apply here.

this is one of those times
like how we pushed H.R.1209 to the tea parties
push H.R.975 to the trump protestors

ya they are all going to these townhalls right now with little direction other than rage
give em something to add to that
