A New Strategy for Liberty

Are you frustrated at the loss of freedom and responsibility in America, while the growth of government and taxes continues unabated? Do you want to live in strong communities where your rights are respected, and people exercise responsibility for themselves and in their dealings with each other?

If you answered "yes" to those questions, then the Free State Project has a solution for you.

What the Free State Project is... The Free State Project is an effort to recruit 20,000 liberty-loving people to move to New Hampshire. We are looking for neighborly, productive, tolerant folks from all walks of life, of all ages, creeds, and colors who agree to the political philosophy expressed in our Statement of Intent, that government exists at most to protect people's rights, and should neither provide for people nor punish them for activities that interfere with no one else.

isn't the FSP where people move to a relatively unpopulated state, to affect local political change, and then decide that "voting is the problem"?

Kentucky is also starting to get alot of good politicians though.
Massie, Rand Paul, Hightower

Its the state that people agree that the MAXIMUM role of government should be protection of life liberty and property. What they do from then on out is up to them. They can lay low in unpopulated areas with others doing sustainable farm projects, they can get politically active as many elected state reps have found, they can create media as the largest nationally syndicated liberty radio show has, or they can find their own path. The idea is solid both historically and pragmatically. The changes that have occurred with 1000 people are astounding and should intrigue others to participate.

Minnesota has the highest confirmed percentage of Paul RNC delegates so far... ;)

Not sure if that changes after this weekend.

Utah also has Senator Mike Lee who's been voting pretty constitutional. All of Utah's young bucks are RP supporters- plus Utahans love the Constitution- just need to be educated.

Go to New Hampshire if liberty is your only decision maker.

I live in Florida...the wife likes beaches and sunny weather.

We are in Pennsylvania currently. We love the mountains. my work would love if i moved more west. California is to expensive. my wife's family lives in Winnipeg CA.

I don't know in terms of numbers, but New Hampshire has the most active liberty lovers because of the Free State Project.

New Hampshire has no state sales or income tax, which may be enough to make me move there eventually. I like Washington and Minnesota, but both states tax the hell out of things. Washington has terrible sales tax, but no income tax; Minnesota has both.

New Hampshire, from what I know, has the largest population of libertarians per capita, if I had to guess. Thanks in part to the Free State Project.

And, after New Hampshire, this Free State Project really needs to hit up another state, take it one at a time.

how did New Hampshire's voting go? didn't the majority of the delegates go to Obomeny?

I suggest NC. I like it here.

Not many liberty lovers here in AZ, but you can buy some ranch land relatively cheap and live far away from the cities, cops, and such. I would have myself a ranch if I could afford it.

For a long time Kentucky has had an underground liberty movement (really underground). The establishment party bosses have exerted a tight grip of control for decades, but they are starting to lose it slowly.

Ahh well cgainey, there goes inviting you out here. Best of luck finding a liberty state.

I think Montana has it, just by the people's attitude there. There's no formal project (that I know of), but Montana is the freest state in my opinion.

They also donate the most per capita to Ron Paul.
