When are we going to get serious?

Issues are distorted just as bad as politician views. You obviously aren't from a state with a democratic proposition system.
As it has already been pointed out POLITICIANS enact changes to the constitution.
Also you are flawed in your assumption Democrats are favorable to Declarations of war. The last two democratic presidents absolutely and completely disregarded the congressional power and the war powers act. Even both Bushes went to congress for the authorization to go to war.
Saying we are losing is wrong. We are up to one senator and 3 solid RP republicans in congress. Not bad for only 5% of the voters.

Audit the Fed. Right. Of course we all like that, but it's flaws are:
(1) it's a step strategy. The thinking is that if you audit--->public support/outrage---->repeal the Act. It's a very long road.
(2) it's more helpful for building general awareness than having a real impact
(3) it's obscure. We need something that you could explain to Joe-Schmo while on a short elevator ride (i.e. a clean "elevator pitch")

Sound money is not a sound bite. Ending the Fed is the key to winning liberty. When enough people in the liberty movement understand sound money is when the liberty movement gets serious.

Let's look to Fox News. They are essentially the highest rated cable news network and already have libertarians on the network. Judge Nap, Stossel, and Cavuto all are good assets to our movement. The best thing we could do is get those shows high ratings, and try and get our liberty guys on the shows frequently. I think we're overestimating the kookiness factor Rand would be assumed to have, he's very polished and knows how to say the same things Ron does in a more acceptable way to the average viewer. Plus any success on that network can maybe get the Hannity's of the world thinking. We need to do something before the neocons Kristol and Hayes start drooling at the mouth about the prospects of Rubio. Have you listened to them lately? They're already trying to accept tax increases. We should be pushing DEFENSE CUTS as our mode of compromise to avoid tax increases. I will keep saying this. Most average conservatives care more about their pocketbooks than how many military bases we have. We need to step up on this. It's our advantage to put the Republican establishment in a pickle as many times as possible.

Judge Napolitano no longer has his own show on Fox business channel. The reason their ratings are so high is because they have no competition in the conservative market.
