I see the newsletters are a commonly used tool to dismiss the substance of what Lew has to say. What is so horrible in the newsletters that it warrants all the strawmanning and other foolish attacks? Interesting how y'all play the looney left's game of shouting "RACIST!" to shut people up...

In a similar vein, it should always be remembered that they, unlike Ron (or Rand), have no responsibility.

They can say what they like without losing the next election.

Even if you agree with them 100%, Shirley, you must realize that they could never get elected talking the way they do.

I don't think that's an accurate assessment. Lew's always been fond of RP's campaigns for bringing light to stuff like the FED and the illegal wars. (ETA: Lew even maintains a Ron Paul archive on LRC of all RP's articles) Calling it "stupid" isn't an argument.
