What is your heritage?

A whole lot of things that largely add up to around 1/2 Spanish, 1/2 French, and a tiny bit of Taino. It's easier to say I'm Puerto Rican, but that doesn't really tell much about heritage far back like some of you did.

Russian Great Great Grandmother--she was spooky to my 7 yr old self, she never spoke English and had a "dowager's hump" and wore black all the time. Story is that she came over as an indentured servant and gained her citizenship. No idea what part of the country she was from.

my dads' father was an orphan so there's no clue

Both families were from the West Virginia/Western PA soup pot of immigrants, you know, where there are 3 million people and three last names...jk, jk really :D

You could always get a DNA test.

German - mainly Palatine immigrants.

Hmm. I might just look into that. Thanks for the suggestion.

But then I wouldn't be able to claim all heritages, like I currently do. :)

Italian, French, and Polish. Mom is a legal immigrant from Poland, she spent her growing years living off-grid, growing & harvesting her own food.
