The only ones that I know for sure are Irish and Italian (both featured on my mother's side). My father's side is a bit of an iffy situation because my dad's dad was born out of wedlock and he doesn't want to talk about his family or ancestry due to embarrassment, I guess. It's understandable but frustrating for me since I would love to do some research on my ancestors. My grandfather seems to not like Jews very much (sad, I know, and I assure you all that I don't share the same sentiments), and I think he might be self-hating if you get my drift.

The few snippets of info I have been able to find out about my dad's side point to the ancestry being mostly Pennsylvania German. But I don't know if that applies to me because it isn't clear whether that heritage is from my grandfather's real dad or from his adopted family. In short, it is a hugely complicated situation, and I sure don't have or understand all the information.

Czechoslovakian on my dad's side, and my mom's ancestry can be traced back to one of the first 300 settlers in Texas

Both sets of grandparents were from southern Italy so for simplification, 100% Italian.

But at one point I traced my ancestors back further. Based on the info and documents I gathered it seems if I reach back far enough I am part of the Greek/Turkish/Arab migration/invasion of southern Italy and most likely raped by Romans.

Perhaps because I am an American of mixed decent. (predominantly European) But an quite distinctly NOT WHITE. In fact in my 53 years on this planet I have never seen a white person.
I have seen various shades of skin tone, none of them being white.

Perhaps because I spent a few years in prison arguing with racists of several sects on the subject.
Perhaps because I believe racism to be a very ignorant. Perhaps because "white" supremacist's are often pushing their crap on this forum.

Hibernian Scots, Irish/Viking, Briton/Welsh, Anglo-Saxon-Norman and possibly some Cherokee (unconfirmed). Basically, most of my ancestors at one point hated and invaded each other. Go back far enough and I might have Roman or other blood (Iazyges Sarmatian, Dacian etc) due to my Welsh ancestry.
