What is your heritage?

I am 1/2 Irish, 1/4 Polish, and 1/4 Russian.

The Polish and Russian in me came in the early 20th century, and the Irish came mostly in the 1720's because of persecution for their Protestant faith and Irish nationality. Most Irishmen hated them for being Protestant. The English hated them for being Irish. I know very little about my Russian heritage, but the family myth is that we're descended from Ivan IV, which is where we get out family name: Ivans. I don't believe that.

English, Irish, Scottish, French, Finnish, German, and probably more.

I did a family history thing, but the majority of my family has been in America since the early 1800s or 1700s so it is hard to figure out what I am since records going back further are more difficult to find.

Italy, Russia, Hungary.

My dad's side has family from Turin and Naples. Maternal great-grandmother came from Minsk (Russian Empire) in 1910. The Hungarian part (from Budapest) probably came over in the early twentieth century.

Large amounts of pennsylvania dutch, a little english.

Basically just your standard, caucasian, suburb dwelling American.

American mutt. I have Germans, Scots, Portuguese and American Indian, plus what ever you get thrown in there when some branches of your family tree have been in America since before the revolution.

American Mutt.

Known, French on both sides, English (Welsh?) on my Moms.
The Osmar name we traced to Serbia but records were lost in the wars, There is a possibility it was a German name. And a little American Indian thrown in.
We have traced family lines on this continent to the 1600s.
