You guys are all so incredibly full of crap. The internet ones do not count--they are often like 20-30 or more points too high!

Mine was 118 when I was 12 or 13, court ordered for a custody mediation, given by an official tester--and it's probably gone down--because I read less and got worse at math, etc. since then

How about income? Are there correlations between IQ and income level? It would be pointless to have a high IQ and then be making an average income.

Yeah there is a relation. People with IQ's above 115 supposedly make more money according to some psychological studies. Thats what I read in my psychology book and heard from my psyche class at least.

But its like someone already said on here, IQ tests are not the end-all answer to know if someone is smart or not.

do you know how absolutely incredibly rare those high up numbers are. It's not a regular linear type scale! This is crazy. You are all in the .001 percentile.

Ok so take some internet ones and compare the scores to your 118 then. IQ scores don't chance much over time because they take age into account as well. So if your score is like more than 7 or 8 points higher, then you are probably right, and internet IQ tests are worthless.

I figure they can give you an idea of where your score is though, probably within 10-15 points I would think, but they may not be useful at all like you say idk.

I am usually in the 165-170- range ;p

And this IQ factored my age and education into account for the naysayers.

It is the internet after all so you know people are either inflating their numbers or stating the highest result they ever got off of any scam online IQ test.

I'm guessing everyone here is making 6 figures as well.

Actually the people who make six figures have an average GPA of 2.6/4.0

My IQ according to the WAIS-III 151 >(99.9% population)
SAT I 1580 (800 Verbal 780 Math)
College G.P.A.=3.1
Lets just say I party too much :p

This is a constitutional Republic. The rule book, for our greatness has been there for everyone. It was penned by geniuses. People smarter than most in knowledge and unmatched in wisdom. I don't know what the founding fathers would have scored.

I have always been impressed with Dr. Paul. I've never questioned that the man is heads and shoulders above anyone in wisdom. Is Ron so impressive just because hes got the smarts or because being constitutionally principled gives him that aura of genius? He definatly benifits from the knowledge of everyone that helped to write the constitution. Still, RP turns biased questions around so quickly I've got to think that his IQ is way up there.

As for the rest of us that have awakened to the constitution. We've got the smarts of the founders with us too.

According to who?

2.6 GPA won't get you into any Medical, Vet, or Pharmacy school. Maybe it is true of years past but College is way more competitive than it has ever been and 2.6 doesn't even get accepted at the major state colleges out here in the West.

I've taken a few IQ tests, including a "professional" one when I was a kid to get into the "gifted" program, and I've scored between 149 and 156.

That said, I'm not convinced those tests are as telling about a person's intelligence as they're cracked up to be, and the online tests that I've seen have been an absolute joke.

The internet test (like Tickle.com and some others I have taken) always said I had an IQ of 129, but an official test I took from a psychologist years ago said I had 127, in my case the internet has never been that far off and never put me over 129. Now my EQ is probably borderline retarted, but I mean well!

The real I.Q. test is life. If you have a 160 I.Q. and make 50,000 dollars a year than obviously something is broken. Someone with that high of an I.Q. should be able to play the markets like a fiddle.
