Some of the most evil men in history were genius. Some of the greatest men in history were illiterate.

Is Trump a genius? Probably...but like Motzart, it translates into a singular part of his life. Unfortunately, unlike Motzart, Trump is using his genius in league with the agents of oppression and tyranny.

Oh nice- just got another neg-rep from RonPaulGeorge&Ringo

He says I'm "lying". Man up & prove it.

BTW- neither Ron Paul, George OR Ringo would call me a liar- even if they disagreed. They would prove their point.

He definitely is above average in IQ. Average is considered between 90 and around 120..average IQ is not that smart. Trump is clever...he is smart... but I would not consider him genius. Also, IQ does not equate with success at all. Very average people can be good manipulators and thus quite successful. They can have the drive to succeed, which is helpful. Very high IQ people really can have a tough time in society as they can see how stupid the people they work for are...they can see the result of decisions but no one wants to hear about it...can be very depressing and they could want to drop out and live in the woods away from everyone else. However, they can be like Trump and really want to be successful or they can be very inventive and make millions that way. There is not just one way to display brilliance.

There is actually strong correlation between income and IQ, but a high IQ does not guarantee a high income or success nor does a low IQ guarantee poverty.

Lot's of people have wealthy parents who give them endless assistance. Few rise to the level that Trump has. Of course he wouldn't be where he is if he was born into a poor family, but he took his dad's money and influence and took it to the next level. That is a huge success any way you look at it.

Trump's uncle was a professor at MIT. His sister is an Appellate Judge on the Third Circuit. Trump displays an impressive command of human psychology and ability to utilize those concepts accurately on the fly. He has a high IQ.

Most leaders don't go much above 120. Above 120 people start to become highly dysfunctional and low achieving, or very narrowly achieving.

Albert Einstein was continuously forgetting where he lived. Geniuses exhibit "genius behavior" eccentricities that have to be managed by someone, a guardian, partner or assistant, for them to get anything done.

Far more important than IQ is an all encompassing belief in oneself and ones vision. High levels of introspection tend to negate that. You need to be smart enough to have dramatic vision and insight, but not smart enough to second guess yourself.

Also IQ is a statistical test. It has no meaning past 150 although there is a whole raft of beyond MENSA people who like to think it can be measured.

Anyone who doesn't think that Trump is a genius is missing something. He knows exactly what he is doing, and he is playing you and all the self appointed intellectual establishment/pundits for the fools that you are.

Truth^^ He carried money in his shoe when he went out so he could call his wife for directions home.

That's what I thought too! I was reading an analogy yesterday. It said: do you prefer a smooth talker with bad policies or a bad mouth talker with smooth policies. I'm not supporting or voting for Trump but I'm cheering that he finishes the GOP off so we can pick up the pieces with our Constiutionalist values!! Consider this the Revenge of the Nerds for what the GOP did to Ron in 2012!!

Yes, if you are really intelligent you can see both sides of any story and realize there is no difference. Decision making can be very difficult because it all is the same. Maybe Trump is smarter than I think because he does seem able to present both sides of an argument with the same degree of belief. (I think his IQ is around 130-135....no higher).

Well, he owns more physical gold than just about everyone but Goldman Sachs and nobody is calling him a goldbug conspiracy nut. He figured something out. Master manipulator, sure, but genius?
He took $200 million and turned it into an empire worth . . . almost as much as if he had just invested it in the S&P 500. At least he didn't lose it.
For my own well-being, I will say his IQ is 104 - 108--average college student--with some horse sense. Horse sense alone these days will put you in a very select group that those without it will call genius.

I didn't think you could get in college with that low of an IQ.

College is 100% perspiration not inspiration.

Wealth comes from discipline, risk taking, and getting lucky.

People with exceptional gifts either mental or physical tend not to do as well as those without. They can cruise on natural talent and never build up the the levels of self discipline of those who eventually surpass them.

Neg repped from RonPaulGeorge&Ringo who says this is "misinformation".

Why don't you have a discussion and refute this instead of the childish neg- repping?

And neg-repped again by RonPaulGeorge&Ringo who says my comment above is "off-topic".
