Well, one thing that could occur is for the campaign to send out announcements to all Ron Paul's MySpace and Facebook friends.

Then, Jonathan Bydlak could organize some offline fundraisers and take some action with regard to finding bundlers.

As far as the grassroots is concerned, if we think there needs to be some kind of gimmick to make this happen, let's define it and then start spreading the word through videos, banners and advertisements. In my opinion, if it's going to work, we need to do something different this time. This is probably stupid, but what comes to mind, is some kind of fundraiser/money bomb that reminds people what this campaign is all about.... Taking our country back from the special interests and lobbyists and reinstating the Constitution/individual liberty. It needs to elicit a lot of passion in our fellow countrymen. You know, like now is the time to make a stand! I'm not quite sure the best way to frame that for general consumption. We need the marketing genuises input.

yeah i dont mean to make a dumb money bomb post or anything...
i used to be against another money bomb but now i know something needs to happen

its just 60% of voters still havnt heard of docter paul.
i can definatly believe that number if not even higher from the answers i get when asking if people know who ron paul is.


the only way to get his name out there is commercials, the media isnt going to help us.
and im just worried we cant raise the money in time.

Set realistic short-term goals now, and put something big in place for mid January.

Let's face it, if we're going to raise that kind of money in the time allotted, top three results in Iowa and New Hampshire will need to be achieved first.

Then the new donors will join the Revolution!

I think the payday is a good, steady way to fund raise. I will help HQ with planning as the money is more consistant. Moneybombs make the media, but I'm sure diminishing returns will come into play.

Personally, I'm waiting to see how the 4th quarter fund raising goal of $12 million to WIN in IA, NH, SC and NV turns out. By then I'll have a much better handle on the situation, and be much better able to make an informed and intelligent decision about additional contributions.

6 million in one day then less than 1 million over the next 14 days isn't a good sign. If we're going to get the money then we need to stop thinking in terms of "bombs" and figure out a way to get a steady stream of income. Even having a daily goal would be good. Set it at $350,000 a day and do whatever we have to do to get it. Have bake sales, recycle cans, roll your spare change, whatever and then set the Friday "Payday" goals at $1 million if you did that we would get a steady three million a week.
