When did he say that? In recent videos regarding his race, it seems that he is actually excited about whats been happening with Ron Paul delegates and what could happen at the convention. Hell, the official site has a little "Become a Delegate" thing now. It's quite obvious that he knows he has a chance.
In the least it might give Paul a voice at the convention.
At best it could make it a mess for McCain. It would definetely make headlines.
Ron said he is proud of the campaign's accomplishments, but he said that a victory is not probable with this election. That was in a campaign video posted on his very website. That was the one where the Media jumped and said he was dropping out. But those were his words.
We have 14 delegates as of right now. 14 measley delegates. Compare that to McCain, who has already won enough to win the nomination.
McCain is the nominee. It's time to accept it and figure out what we are going to do next.
I dunno how many times I have to repeat this. The delegate count won't mean much until the actual convention. Until then, which is six months ago, there are going to be hundreds and hundreds of county conventions, and 50 state conventions by then. If the delegates do well, McCain's delegates will become unbound, and the national delegates, if the state's delegates were at least 50% Paul supporters, will be national Paul delegates. What does that mean? We win.
Never give up keep picking up as many delegates as possible and get to the RNC in St. Paul, MN even if McCain gets the nominatiuon we could boo him during his acceptance speech and maybe see MCAngry get tempermental on National TV.
You are living in a Fantasy World. You think all of McCain's delegates are going to change their mind and come over and support Ron, defying the majority that voted for him.
You are out of your mind.
Why is it that Ron has conceded that he won't win the nomination, but you apparently can't?

It's clear to me that that most of the posters on this Forum are in a state of denial and do not wish to accept reality. I was in that point for a time. But not anymore.
McCain is the Republican nominee and I believe Obama can overcome Hillary's tactics and still take the Democratic nomination.
But I'm tired of people living in the Land of Make Believe. Especially, when Ron hasn't pulled off victory in one single state. And much of that is the fault of his own campaign.
See you all after the Convention, and after it's done ... we'll see what kind of Dream World you are all living in.

And even if it's not 50%, say 20-33%, the RP delegates could present a reason why McCain is not a good choice for the GOP nomination and then form a Rump convention and nominate their own Republican candidate.
What exactly is a "rump convention"?
