In the age of American Idols and their soundalikes and unimaginative cover albums this cover (featuring Disturbed's David Draiman and Halestorms Lzzy Hale) is surprisingly great.

I like this song a lot. I really like it. I like the Ozzy and Lita version from the 80's better though.Good pick, Krock.

I just bought this album again yesterday. I had it years ago but lost it somehow. Of course like video killed the radio star the digital age has killed the joy in going to the record store for the new albums. Now you just plug yer phone into yer radio and yer set.

Anyhoo...the last time I turned this thing up loud and peeled out was heading back west one night from watching the waves crash on the beach in Atlantic City. Full moon, lights off, long stretch of highway...yeah. Lyrics are corny but the rhythm is right up my alley. I like it loud. Ah, to be young again...

I love this song. Reminds me of a Bon Jovi VHS tape I bought in the salvation army store. The break room at DMV had a vcr and since the tape was about 15 minutes I'd watch the tape and eat a snack on break. It had "In and Out of Love", "Only Lonely", "Silent Night", "She Don't Love Me" and "Runaway." I remember the (heavily) disjointed plot of the music video, where Jon and some 80s chick were in a Romeo and Juliet scenario and some greaser with sun glasses was going after them.

Yep. I bought the Self entitled first album too which I think is better than 7800° Fahrenheit. He's as liberal as they come but the guy can make some music.

Hey, keep that moonlight drive between you and I please. DMV was a twist of irony. :)

Plus I'm really thinking about reliving that...soon. :D

1985 was an excellent year for so much more than music.

this one is a lost classic. They left it off Slippery and put it on some crappy Fat Boys movie soundtrack. I'm convinced it would have been their third #1 off that album if they had included it.

Yep. I think so too. It's on the 100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong box set though.

Check out the New Jersey Domos that never made the cut on youtube. Some of the best stuff never even made it onto the album. Same with Slippery when Wet. Some really good demos on that one too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30PQQgBfHHI

This has been a fun thread but now just takes too long to load for me. Good music, people. A very diverse group.
