What are you listening to?

97.7 KFOG played a really good show today. It was a whole bunch of stuff from the 60's.

They also had some Nixon stuff they played. Nixon said something like, "Everyone is yelling. "We won't be able to hear each other until we calm down and lower our voices.". (At 13:00 on 10 at 10 link below.)

Here is one of the songs on the play list.

Cream - Politician

Two

Zager & Evans - In the Year 2525 (Exordium and Terminus)

P.S. Oh! Wow!

Here is a link to the whole 10 at 10 show. Today was records from 1969.

I liked the part where Mayberry RFD was just coming on the television and they cut in to interrupt it to announce the results of the draft lottery. (At 3:30 on 10 at 10 link above or below. Where ever your coming from.)

The show really takes me waaaaaaay back. Any of you remember your lives being on hold for a war in Vietnam may want to trip out on some of the speeches and by all means the music. I forgot how heavy it was.

They aren't as innovative anymore, but there are some really good moments here.

90's rock.

Nope. 1985. It was the number one single in all mainstream US pop singles charts ,the Billboard Hot 100 and Cash Box Top 100. The single hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in March of 1986 and in Canada, the song reached number one in February of 1986.

It's probably older than 90% of the people on this forum. :)
