I like the WeekendofLiberty site. I've been plugging it mercilessly on Ron Paul's Facebook groups, and I see other kids are now beginning to mention it when people ask "How can we make the TeaParty even better?"
As of now, there seems to be a general lack of familiarity with December 15th among the college crowd, who can really make or break the idea. But it's getting better than it was. Other people are speaking up and bringing the subject up. One guy said there's a plan in the works right now to have hundreds of people rally on the 16th in LA, supposedly with media coverage already in the works.
In Chicago, I've been pimping this idea repeatedly on the MeetUp board, and I'll be out getting signatures tomorrow so I can get to talk to some MeetUp people in person about it. My plan is to make a couple homemade signs and get out to a nice, busy six-point intersection. If we can get people out to Michigan Ave., State St., Union Station, Grant Park, busy intersections outside of downtown, etc. in Chicago, and people out to all the malls in the suburbs, we'll be seen by two million people for sure.
I think when people have a whole month to get their act together for both of these events, they're going to be on all the airwaves.
