Weak voters are getting mad because we're CALLING THEM SO MUCH.

How can you blame Iowans...they have dealt with politics nonstop for the past 6 months

Indeed, if you are getting a lot of these responses, it's probably about time to give it a break in Iowa.

This isn't surprising. There's thousands of volunteers and only a couple hundred thousand potential caucus goers.

Have to agree, maybe we should get off the phones for a bit if the majority of calls are re-calls guys.

I imagine this is what most people do after a couple people are annoyed with them.

give it a break guys, sit back and enjoy the ride the next few hours

lets not piss anyone off

i need more than one post about one complaint from a user who signed up in November to believe this is any sort of problem.

When we get multiple confirmations from established members, sure. But other than that, until the campaign states to stop, do NOT believe one random person on the internet. That should go without saying.

If its happening to you more than 10-20% of the time I would definitely stop calling guys...

Yeah, I've gotten some upset people but most understand. I'm torn on this. I haven't seen a call from the campaign to stop. In an hour and a half the caucuses start.

Honestly, everybody needs to just quit calling. Everybody has already been reached four or five times.

There are a lot more than one post.

I do wonder, myself. I remember with Rand we were finally asked to stop with GOTV because the list had started cycling again to called people, but I haven't seen that said here yet.

Don't stop until the campaign tells you to stop.
Anyone could be telling us to stop. Even someone from another campaign who doesn't want this to work.

I assure you, I'm NOT from another campaign. I contacted the Ron Paul PFH line and they said this happens sometimes but keep pushing ahead, most people have 2 voters in their home. I still think the campaign needs to know about it.

I agree. People, trust your gut on this one. If you feel your calls are becoming counter-productive. Stop calling.

I stopped yesterday. I could have put a good 20 hours in but all of my calls were to people who have been called already. Some of them were pissed. This is a huge failure, and I'm sorry to be negative and I'm sure people are going to be pissed but I have to put the truth out there. The phone from home GOTV is completely screwed up.

I would suggest everybody STOP calling. That's my personal opinion. Flame away against me if you want.

Maybe sending text messages would work better at this point. Less annoying.

this shit right here is why I am not as active as I was last time
the fact that people blaming the government for chaos and disorder wherever it sticks its nose cannot even put together an organized cohesive effort without cannibalizing themselves is appalling

i do my part
i tell ppl about ron paul
so don't think i'm sitting on sidelines

and if a group of enthused people, in the age of computers, cannot come up with one comprehensive call bank that checks and triple checks that ppl are not harassed, then i wash my hands. Once again, WE are the reason if this campaign fails again.
