We Need A Good Slogan!!!

Ron Paul Revolution - Restore Our Constitution just isn't cutting it!!

It just doesn't sound right, and also the syllables don't match. Plus, you can't chant it over and over again, and worst of all, to someone who doesn't care much for revolutions or constitutions, but just wants to be left alone to their own lives, this is completely unappealing.

Meaning we are missing out on a HUGE group of people who could potentially want to just do their own thing (which is an important part of our message) and not worry about politics. Shouting out revolution!!! will not encourage someone who is not already part of the revolution to JOIN the revolution!

I am no expert slogan writer nor psychologist or whatever but what I do know is that the first time I heard this, before I heard of Ron Paul, I just thought... "whatever." Now I know what it means, but nevertheless I still believe that this is not the best slogan we can come up with. And "bring our troops home" just sounds like any other anti-war chant.

I am sincerely and honestly challenging the status quo - we need new one(s) and fast!

I was thinking about how he has solutions to solving our problems whereas all the other candidates just do the same ol crap. RP will deal with our problems up front, whereas the others will just try to pick up the cards once they fall.

I agree. Along similar lines, I think "Hope for America" is weak. It evokes almost a sad feeling. Not good. We need something that makes people feel good.

To me, one of the things that really sets RP apart from the other candidates is TRUST.

How about something like:

Restore the Trust, or
Trust for America


Associated ads could be along the lines of:

America needs a President who is truthful
America needs a President with consistent views
America needs a President with a solid moral foundation
America needs a President we can trust
America needs Ron Paul

I've been working on this for awhile now and keep coming back to

SECURITY, FREEDOM, PEACE

Security everyone is familiar with and it is used a lot but we can take it and give it new meaning, real meaning. Border security, economic security, securing civil rights, .... it can lead into many areas of Real Security not the Homeland type. With the nonintervention aspect of Ron Paul many think he will not protect America, which we know is not true. Push the word security and then it can be followed up with more detail once you get them with it.

Freedom is great and again can lead into many areas, Healthcare Freedom, Freedom from the patriot act and on and on.

Peace. Not to many people against peace, and leads into all the things that peace can bring.

Commercials could push these 3 main ideas and then expand a little on each one but end with , something like "to learn more of Ron Paul's plan for Security, Freedom, and Peace for America Call Ron Paul at 1-877-RON-PAUL or visit RonPaul2008.com".

Pushing the 877 number is important so they can easily call and its simple to remember, for those without internet. the 877 number should be used everywhere. Sign waves using the number gives those driving by a way to remember how to get more info and get involved in helping Ron Paul become our next President.

Always remember we are targeting the Sheep of this country and they have been programed to respond to certain words and the way they are presented. We don't have to reinvent the wheel, just use the tricks of advertising that already works. Just think about the sucessfull commercials and those that stick in your mind and copy them and make them our own.
