+rep to both blamx8 and DanConway. We cannot give up folks. Liberty is too great a prize.

Appreciated, especially after getting two -reps and being called a troll for venting about the cultism that some people here display (and tonight's close loss) on another thread. I'm calm now, I promise.

Someone on this other forum called me delusional to think that Ron Paul has a chance, we need to prove him and everyone else who believes this wrong! We can do it!

Agreed! :) Thanks for this! We must keep our eyes on the prize and not allow the GOP to make us punch drunk and distracted!
Chins up, shake it off, and march on! :)

Absolutely! +rep to you and Misses Annie over there! :)

Disappointment leads to intense distraction. The GOP may be able to control the results of some things, but we do NOT have to LET them control our attitudes! :)

That's the most powerful force in any campaign that has it: positive enthusiasm. In our case, we have many reasons to be positive. We have one of the most principled, honest men who has ever run for or held any national office in the history of our country. We have the cause of liberty, the greatest political cause that ever has existed. We have each other in the liberty movement.

We have a lot to be thankful for and a lot to fight for, and to give up after what we have done so far would be foolish.

+1 "1836". This is very useful information and these will be the key states for this campaign. I created this thread after seeing yours: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showth...uttle-ND-WY-ID-WA-AL-VA-until-Mar-6&p=4171983

Hopefully mine will be merged into this. I had to create one to stress on the point that there needs to be a lot of candidate presence to win these caucuses. Dr. Paul needs to effectively stay in these 4 states for the next 1 month.

I would agree entirely. We do need to make sure that the candidate is there, where people can see and meet him.

That will get us more voters than anything. Ron's such a humble man that when people see him in person and hear his message, it doesn't matter that he doesn't give a good speech, you believe the guy! As Gary North wrote, Ron Paul is one of the best persuasive speakers out there. He convinces people.

we need to move forward regardless of what this HACK party says or does. I hope Ron sticks it to them and goes third. I hate the GOP so much

Wow. There definitely appears to be a correlation. Hard to imply causation, but a correlation does seem to be there.

Within 4 points of fundraising numbers (underperforming in most cases understandably). Posted this to reinforce your pick of states. You should add VT to that.

ND/AK/WA/VT look very promising.

That's why I'm sticking around. I'm hoping for a 3rd party run. I wouldn't expect that to end with a win, but I think it would be a good start for a viable 3rd party and is more worthwhile in the long run than a speech at the gop convention or some platform plank the gop will ignore anyway.

It's worth remembering that we are in a very similar position within the party right now as the evangelicals were in the late 80s/early 90s. We are on the cusp of having some serious influence within the party and indeed, we're already seeing it.

AJ Spiker being elected Iowa chair and people like our own Steve Munisteri here in Texas, I think you are seeing a serious move within the party towards our ideas and we are having tremendous influence.

There's a long way to go, but we are winning.
