I am one of the dummies that jumped the gun but I am going to try and change my reservations and just eat the cost.

We are waiting on the poll results and on which date Ron Paul can attend. Right now, July 12th is winning out and Dr. Paul is being apprised of it. We're also seeing what we can do for the folks who made arrangements for 6/21 and can't get out of them.

That's actually a drop down menu. The shortest it will stay is 30 minutes, but you can set it to not expire for up to one week.

I was going to start a new thread about this...but there's really not a point. I just have a question. I just saw a buletin on myspace stating that the summer march has been canceled. Then the bulletin went on to advertise for the April 15th march. Hmmm. Seemed a bit funny to me. So, what's the deal?

i don't see why we ask anyways. I say August for publicity reasons. I could dedicate a lot of time over the summer to this,now school is in and I can't.

You don't see why we ask what? Do you mean, why we're asking the grassroots to choose between the two dates? If that's what you are asking, the reason is because this is a grassroots effort and the grassroots should have some say-so.

We can't make this happen without the help and support of the you, the grassroots. We're not here to control and dictate over this event, we're here strictly to organize this event, to assist others in organizing their own events, and to promote all events that occur within this movement.

I had been given poor information, and was told that RonPaulMarch.com was the official site, and that June 21, 2008 was the official date.

Now, the April 15 March is getting all the attention, and RonPaulMarch.com has been taken offline.

We are splintering badly. As we all understand, unless we can come together in an impressive show of force, our efforts are wasted. We must begin the efforts in earnest.

My thoughts:

- After April 15 has passed, we must begin organized efforts to promote the march; we must pass word through the meetup groups, and get the bloggers and YouTubers activated again.

- I STRONGLY suggest we set a deadline for picking a date. For example, say that the final decision will be made on May 1, 2008. Then, in the two weeks after April 15, we can begin organizing people on the REVOLUTIONMARCH.COM domain. This presents an urgent call to action- vote before May 1, 2008.

- If Ron Paul can only attend one of the dates, I suggest we go with it. However, we need a deadline as soon as possible. Something- either the date itself, or a date on which we pick the date. We need SOMETHING to bring the Paulians together again.

- Is REVOLUTIONMARCH.COM the official site? If not, what is? Is this server ready to handle viral traffic? If not, I am happy to assist in that regard.

Please help me get up to speed so I can begin spreading the news. Feel free to contact me directly at zaphodforpresident.com.

The date will be set once we hear back from Dr. Paul. Yes, www.revolutionmarch.com is the official site. RonPaulMarch.com was a site that started out promoting various marches around the country. We don't know why it has been pulled, we are trying to find out. We were collaborating with the site owner on pledges. We only hope everything is okay over there.

June 21st was never an official date only a suggested date by Ron Paul. People mistakenly ran with it without getting official confirmation.

Well hopefully we hear from him soon. This is really important to lots and lots of people. Given enough time to get the word out, and really push, this event will have it's desired effect. It will re-energize our base, and hopefully kick start a movement. We Need A Date, ASAP!!
