We have a shot at 2016!!!!

I like your spunk.....makes me fight harder

So do "THEY" and so do "THEY"

Unfortunately, they get to "fight harder" with the law, media and mass of sheep on their side. Dont get me wrong, I am certain that our idea of liberty will NEVER die, its in every individual to fight for liberty, our movement will one day win, however; I don't see how its going to happen without violence or a MASSIVE tax and opt out revolt.

haha, of course Its me that "doesn't understand"

So THIS time, when Rand is running and doing great, pushing all our messages, what do we do when they cheat, lie and steal? Nothing? Just yell about it on Internet forums and say Ron Paul's niece 2020!?

You guys are all on some serious drugs if you think the government, the one that's LOCKING up presidential candidates for trying to attend debates is going to let us freedom lovers anywhere near any position that will make a change.

The "Establishment" will pull out some crazy ringer like Hillary, then we will have to compete with the first "Women president" yeah... good luck to us pitching "crazy ass foreign policy" tactics over the "first women president"

Yes, it is pretty clear that you don't understand what owning the party would mean. "They" are able to do what they do because "they" currently own the party. If we own the party, then "they" become us. And unless you think WE are going to steal the election from Rand and give it to Shillary, your comments make no sense.

LOL, good luck with that!

Jeb Bush will be elected president in 2016. People have short term memories and the media will paint the picture of how great things were in the Bush era. Bush III will be even worse than I & II, and we will essentially have a full blown dictatorship on our hands.

Time to get away from the idea that political solutions will work. Time to get back to what we all really know- that democracy has failed, and that the true answers to peace and prosperity lie in the individual- NOT in a system or group of politicians.

LOL - this is why we can't have good things. :(

same thing happened post-2008 which is why we lost 2012.

doing the same thing over and over expecting different results... how's THAT working for y'all?

Know what you're running for in 2016 yet, Gunny?

Exactly. This became evident to me when I became a delegate for Ron Paul. There were a lot of us. Some of the naysayers are going to have to be taken to liberty kicking and screaming. I'm with you voluntarily Glen. Count me in.

the best we'll get in 2016 is a rubio/paul ticket or christie/paul. or some combination of the three-either way-the GOP will see to it rand is stuck in a VP role.

The GOP establishment in the 70's talked like you. But back then, they were usually responding to evangelical Christians and Neoconservatives who's aim was to control the GOP. You're saying they didn't make inroads? Your'e saying it's not possible?

Start attending those republican meetings and making friends and selling liberty. I plan on buying copies of Rand's book and giving them out to plant the seeds early.

Seriously good idea. The Fox News machine will try to turn on Rand, maybe sooner rather than than later. Having an established reputation for the candidate ahead of the press attack is essential. The more we bolster his reputation early, the better.

If Rand wins the popular vote in Iowa, he stands a good chance of winning New Hampshire. If he wins Iowa and New Hampshire, he will have a huge amount of momentum.

Of course, this depends on Iowa being the first caucus, and New Hampshire being the first primary. That is likely, but surprises happen. Which is why, we need to make sure that "we" become "they" - as Gunny put it.

Justin Amash will turn 35 before the next election. Just sayin

The thing that Rand has that Justin does not, is that Rand is already a household name. People have already formed a first impression of him. An unkown is very vulnerable to the press.

I still maintain them to be GMO seeds. You are aware that this was the GOP's last chance for many, many years aren't you. Demographic is consistently growing in the other direction and away from what many view as the status quo. I think practical change will come from outside the circus tent. Not from inside. Not with the TEA PARTY Patriots growing from within the party. Basically a bunch of neocons.

You have a tall glass of water to drink. I'm not attacking you or anything. 7.9 unemployment rate and the sitting President just got re-elected. First time in history that's ever happened.

The Republican Party has to make friends with them. Not the other way around. How do you think that's going to work out?
Have you ever been to a Ron Paul rally? American demographics is represented there.

Then they lose again. and again. and again.

They will continue to lose for the next thousand years until they accept strict Constitutionalism.

When they do, we will be there.

But we can make it happen right away.

By taking over.

Right now, the GOP leadership will be in complete disarray.

Now is the time to strike.

Strike the root.
This is our objective, let's do this!

If we sit back and wait, we are doomed and will lose. That's the worst thing we could possibly do.

We need to go full-speed ahead and damn the torpedos.

We need a full-bore national takeover.

We will still have an unfriendly RNC for four years, until we can replace the RNC in 2016.

Then the takeover will be complete.

And then WE decide who the GOP supports.

Because there will be none of the old GOP left, only us.

The GOP leadership will be in complete and utter disarray. Completely vulnerable.

He who hesitates is lost.

Strike now, strike hard.

If we wait four years before we do anything, then of course we lose. And we'd deserve it.
Deserves to posted again in a quote. I agree 110% with this assessment. I purpose we get started sending the media and the party a message early, not only to put them on notice, but to also give them a conservative vision to believe in. We do this by winning CPAC for Rand in January.

Christie is unelectable in Republican primary season given stand on guns, abortion, and host of of other issues.
Rubio is too short on experience and substance for Rand to accept a VP spot
