When is the state convention?
When are ANY of the conventions?
That's the part of this whole system I don't understand...
Where I'm from the winner is the one with the most votes.
Yes, please do canvass for Huckster in WA. RP doesn't have a chance at getting 20% of the primary voters so give as many primary delegates as possibly Huckleberry Hound. Get all our RP people to vote for him too.I am considering going out and canvassing for Huckabee just so McCain doesn't win the nomination, and we win the delegates. I'd probably tell them wrong convention and caucus dates, just so we can get that one extra delegates.
Don't worry I won't do that since I'm full committed to Ron Paul, and Huckabee ain't gonna win WA anyway. I hope either we or Huckabee win on March 4th. I was actually elated that he won Kansas, it shows us the convention might still be brokered.
You can knock down all ten pins when bowling for 10 straight frames and still score a zero if you fault each time.
Every time I read the OP I get more upset.
Winning Washington would have won us more states and more delegates than having everyone hide their RP pride, if this is true
Yeah, that's relevant to the topic at hand. McCain has more state delegates. He won the majority of precincts. More precincts nominated him than Ron Paul.
You clearly do not know how the political system works.

Did you look at Alaska? We thought we would win. In Washington we didn't want to take a chance. Its better for us to get the delegates! But like I said, we underestimated RP support in the caucus. So just be happy that we didn't fuck up in the delegate area! You'll see stories where 4 people showed up and 3 were romney, but the 1 selected for delegate was RP, why because he put undecided, and when it was time to give a talk he said something pro-Romney like! Lol!! We did this to win, sorry if you can't look past the beauty contest, but if this wasn't done we would have lost a lot of delegate postitions!
I don't know what you are talking about. If this was some master plan, why not give Ron Paul just enough to actually win and then have the rest uncommitted?
Please explain it then. The onus is on you, you are making the claim contradictory to all evidence. McCain has 21% more pledged state delegates. Ron Paul has some guy making unsubstantiated claims on the internet.
Look up the Electoral College and study it, the founders of this country set up elections precisely to avoid what the media has been perpetuating which is the ignorance of the masses. Democracy is the expression of mob rule according to Aristotle, which is why the whole delegate process exists, to protect the few from the many when it is necessary.
So far McCain has the states electoral college - their delegates. He has 20% more than Ron Paul. If you disagree you really should supply some sort of evidence. You are just falling victim to wishful thinking.
P.S. The electoral college is the term used for the general election, they are called delegates during the primaries. Look it up.

As far as WA, from the looks of it we MIGHT have won it. Sure we don't know but we shall see who those uncommitted are. The delagetes didn't have to say who they were for, and some Ron Paul supporters were instructed to do this if they thought that they couldn't get the support due to Anti Paul people.
